My Dearest Ex-Wife,
Do you remember that night from a few weeks ago? I do. I invited you over, and I cooked us dinner. We had a nice time together. We talked about how good I was doing. Which was a total lie; I never went to AA or therapy. I was too scared. I lied to you again and again. I was never good enough for you, and I will never be. I lied all the time. You believed me and had me believing in myself. That's why I love you so much. You make me feel good about myself. You make me want to move mountains and fly to the moon. You are so amazing. You are beautiful. You are an amazing mom. You are an amazing wife. You are so many great things. I wish I was half as good as you. I gave you nothing. I made you hurt and be in pain. I made you believe it was your fault for my actions that I caused. Audrey, I am so sorry for hurting you and treating you like you were nothing. I'm so sorry I made you feel so little. I love you so much. Please never forget that.
- Love, Luca
