Gerard POV
He ended up falling asleep in my arms, his breathing steady and soft.
(A/N: sorry for the previous typo, it's been fixed.)
I couldn't fall asleep, since the most beautiful person to exist was in my arms, but also because we needed to leave this place.
We needed to leave as soon as we could.
I stoke his hair gently as I started to lose myself in thought.
I know we have to get at least of the guards keys, so then we have access to all the different rooms and areas if the prison. If we do end up getting keys, we could possibly escape by climbing the fence at night, which is sort of the obvious option, but it's also the easiest. There's cameras everywhere in this place, so I guess it doesn't really matter where we end up escaping from.
It's just how we will do it.
I lightly run my finger along the side of Frank's face as I think up more ideas.
We could take on of the weaker guards hostage, and then take the keys. We could also take his gun, which would be helpful incase I ever needed to, well, shoot someone.
As I continue thinking out this wonderful plan, I start drifting off, not realizing how tired I actually was.
Oh what the hell, escape can last until morning.
And with that, I close my eyes, keeping Frank close to me.
Time skip until morning
When I wake up, Frank to my disappointment, has moved from my arms, and actually isn't even in the damn cell. Where the hell did he go? I realize how bright it actually is outside, then assume he must be at breakfast.
I yawn and stretch, groggily getting up and walking to the shitty cafeteria with their shitty food and shitty staff. I don't bother getting the breakfast, because it's awful, as we all know. Instead, I scan the area for Frank when I see a big brown afro.
Nobody else but Ray has hair like that, so Frank must be there, along with Bob, which sucks.
I make my way over, and see that I was right, they are all there, along with Frank's personal guard. I take my seat next to Frank, joining in on the conversation. Frank leans his head against my arm before I whisper gently next to his ear.
"We're going to escape tonight, well that's the plan at least. We'll talk more when we walk the track."
Frank gives a small nod in response, looking up at me for a split second before joining in the conversation again.
We talk about average things, but mostly about how the food sucks. It's a reoccurring topic when we have meals here. Breakfast then ends sooner then I had expected it to, and we are all told to go outside.
Finally, we can converse about our escape together.
I take his hand and lead him out to the track as he trails behind me quietly, a grin plastered to his face. Once it is just the two of us, we start to slowly walk the track.
Frank eagerly starts the conversation, his words happy and bright.
"Have you thought anything up Gerard?"
I nod, smiling a bit.
"Indeed I have. I was thinking, we should take one of the weaker guards hostage, take his keys and gun, and then use that to get to the outside area, where we are now, at night. We need the keys to unlock the doors that lead out here, and a gun incase any of the guards show up. Then-"
Frank cuts me off, his voice slightly trembling as he speaks.
"Do I have to um..kill people?"
I softly smile at him, squeezing his hand lightly. He's too sweet for prison.
"No, of course not, leave that to me, alright?"
He nods in response, allowing me to continue.
"So then, once we hop the fence, I was thinking we could steal one of the cars from the front, and drive away. My brother Mikey, lives here in New Jersey, so I know he will let us crash his place for a bit. If we can't steal a car, then maybe we just get a taxi instead. And uh, that's about all I have."
Frank laughs softly as I finish up speaking. "Of course you want to steal a car."
"Well duh."
He rolls his eyes and laughs again, taking ahold of my arm and hugging it as we walked along the track.
"Alright, it sounds like a plan then."
I nod in agreement, as we walk in silence for the rest of the hour.
Time Skip
The rest of the day was average, after exercise everyone showered, sat in cells, had lunch, exercised again, dinner, and then finally, cell time for the rest of the night.
Me and Frank had set the target on the scrawniest guard there is here, Andrew. He's small and thing, with messy orange hair. We decided he would be the easiest to take hostage.
Cells lock up in five minutes, so we seriously need to be quick about this.
I push open the cell door quietly, and it squeaks a bit, but Andrew, who happens to, thankfully, the only guard here.
Frank and I stand in the door frame, breathing silently, ready to attack any second.
I turn to Frank, whispering the quietest I can.
"You ready to do this Frank?"
"Fucking ready."
(A/N: YES I KNOW FRANK SAYS "OH IM THERE BABY" BUT THAT SOUNDED WEIRD AS SHIT WHEN I TRIED TO PUT IT INSTEAD OF "FUCKING READY" WHWIWJEKDK)
