Juliet woke up a month later to find a man with gray eyes and brown hair looking at her, her cousin talking to him with her back turned to her.
"And this would be Juliet, but as you can see, she's still... asleep."
"Who's that Destiny?" Destiny never turned around so fast in her life.
"How long have you been awake?!"
"Only a few minutes." Destiny hugged her cousin happily. "Who's this?"
"Mom said he knows Aunt Kara. She's out doing some super stuff, so Mom asked me to give him a tour. Gnir no sih dnah." Juliet looked at Destiny in confusion then at the man's hand.
"My Ring!"
"I have yours here, Jules."
"Then why..."
"I'm part of the legion of superheroes, like your mother and Brainy." Juliet looked at him suspiciously.
"What's your name?"
"My name?"
"Yes, your name. Mines Juliet Danvers. And my mother is Kara--"
"Supergirl. I know. My name is Mon-el."
"This Mon-el?" Juliet took out the letter still in her pocket, signed from her father. Mon-el smiled at her and the letter.
"Yes, that Mon-el. I'm glad you're getting my letters."
"How do you send them to me and mom?"
"Winn does something very complicated and then you get them in your home."
"Mom mentioned Winn a few times. Something about her best friend at Catco?"
"You could always ask him yourself. And history has taught me that you and Destiny are just like your mothers." He picked Juliet up effortlessly and cuddled her in his arms until she was laughing. "You both like fighting together. I gave Destiny her own ring, so you never have to worry about losing yours."
She hugged him, smiling at the nice man who wrote her letters and called himself her father. She then hugged Destiny, happy to see she was ok. Mon-el left the two of them alone to catch up. He saw Brainy had uploaded the DEO Database with names and DNA of people in the future, alien and otherwise, and Alex was scrolling through the list furiously.
"Everything ok here?" He asked her.
"I'll let you know." She said, her body shaking nervously.
