{Yes that is Colton Haynes ;)}
"So then I was like, 'No way!' and he was like, 'Yes way!' and then I said..."
I listened to Melodie blabber on while I poured a customer their drink. I was a barista at Starbucks and it wasn't my ideal job but it paid well.
Still, good lord this girl could talk. If my ears weren't attached they would have fallen off by now.
"I'm back!" My boss entered from the back door and walked to the front. I breathed a sigh of relief and watched for a moment as he took Melodie's apron and put it on before turning to me.
"Miss me?" he asked and I smirked.
"As much as usual." I replied shooting a glance at Mel.
She was texting away on her phone and apparently chewing gum which I hadn't noticed before.
My phone buzzed in my pocket and I looked at my boss before pointing to the break room.
He nodded and I walked down the hall.
I pulled out my phone just as it buzzed again.
Mari: OMG girl you will never believe what Luke just bought me!
I groaned at the thought and looked towards the front of the coffee shop previewing what I was about to go back to in 15 minutes. it looked pretty full.
Me: OMG girl what did he buy you?
I asked the darkest enthusiasm radiating off of me in waves. I felt kinda bad for thinking this but I mean I was in love with her fiancé.
I feel like there's almost not a right way to treat her anymore.
Mari: He got me a puppy!
Great! That asshole got her the one thing she's allergic to.
Didn't he know that? If not I feel like he should.
I didn't respond to her text and instead called Luke.
"Are you out of your goddamned mind?" I asked as soon as I heard his weak, 'Hello?'
"Uhh that depends...what are we basing this off of exactly?" I watched as Trixie, another coworker, walked into the break room and sat down next to me, Colton following closely behind her.
"Oh I don't know, how about the fact that you bought the one person you're supposed to know everything about, the one thing she is allergic to? Hmm? What do you have to say about that?"
Luke chuckled and said, "She's not allergic to dogs." I rolled my own eyes and pinched the bridge of my nose.
"You're such an effing idiot, Luke."
"Uh, why? She told me she wasn't and I believe her." Luke remarked. I rolled my eyes as I watched Colton get up and eye me suspiciously. I looked him up and down with interest and smirked.
"You know what? Fine. Your relationship with her is none of my business." I told him my eyes never leaving Colton's backside.
"What but you just sai-"
"Bye Luke." I said after interrupting him then hung up.
I need to get over Luke and there's only one way to do it.
"Hey Colton you doing anything later?"
(>.<) (>.<) (>.<) (>.<)
"No, I swear it's true watch." Colton said, taking a handful of popcorn and tossing them up into the air.
With much concentration he tried catching all of them in his mouth. I laughed when he failed miserably.
