Chapter 16: Wing Man

Damon's POV:

After I slammed the door, I ran to my car. Once I started the ignition, I just drove. I didn't have a clue where I was going, I just kept going straight. Suddenly I hear a honk of a horn and I step on the brakes. I look up and there's a red light. "What's wrong with me? Couples have arguments all the time." Then I realize that this is the first fight we have ever had. The light turned green and I moved before the people behind me could get mad. "I don't know what to do. I guess I'll meet up with Johnnie and ask for some advice."

Johnnie's POV:

I got a text from Damon as soon a got out of the shower, but when I picked up my green IPhone 5c its slipped from my wet hands. "Fuck!" I yelled. "Babe you okay?" I heard Laura ask me. "Yeah!" I said yelling back. "Okay..." She said. I picked up my phone and read the text. It was Damon asking if we could meet up at Starbucks.

Me: Sure thing, mind if I bring Laura

Damon: Uhm can you just come by urself, I need help with me and rylees fight, idk what to do

Me: yeah that's fine what even happened because Laura's letting Rylee stay at our place for a little while

Damon: really? I'll explain later just text me when you get to Starbucks

Me: k

I then put my phone by the sink, got dressed, dryed my hair, and did the other necessary things to make my appearance better. I went to our bedroom to find Laura playing on her phone, lying down on our bed. "Hey I'll be back im going to meet up with Damon at Starbucks" I said to her going over and kissing her on the lips for a short second. "Okay pick me up something if you can ️thx" she said not looking up from her phone. I left my apartment getting in my car and headed to Starbucks. I called Damon when I was almost there, and told him where I was.

Rylee's POV:

I got to Laura's and Johnnie's apartment and knocked on the door. After about a minute Laura had come and opened the door. I was still really sad and emotional from the whole argument but I could tell Laura wanted to cheer me up because when she opened the door she immediately brightened up and hugged me saying "HEY RUE RUE LUV YOU HOW LIFE WHATS GOING ON HOMEIE!!okay I'll stop now". I smiled. I love her so much she was such a great friend to me. I walked in. "Hey Uhm where do you want me to put my stuff?" I asked. "Uhm you can just put them in our spare room where you'll sleep" she said grabbing my bags and motioning to follow her. We walking in the hall the connected the two bedrooms and bathroom. Then she turned into a room that was fairly nice. It had light blue walls, lots of lights (for filming videos of course) a small closet, and air mattress set up, and a dresser with a fairly large mirror above it. I hugged Laura starting to tear up. She dropped my bags starting to melt into my hug. "Thank you so much Laura I don't know what I would do without you" I said thankfully. "You're welcome Rylee it's the least I could do" she said. I let go with a sudden realization that I hadn't seen Johnnie yet. "Where's Johnnie?" I asked. "Oh he's... Out" she said. "Oh.." I said. Then their was a moment of silence but it was soon broken by Laura quickly grabbing my hand and pulling me to the kitchen. "Want anything to eat?" She asked. "No I'm not in the mood" I said. "Oh come on you have to eat something" she said. She turned around and looked through all he cabinets, then turned to me " how about we Make a pizza? You and me?" She asked. I shrugged them decided not to be difficult because she was trying so I said "sure that fine what do you want me to do?"

Damon's Pov:
"So what all exactly happened between you two?" Johnnie asks as we sit down with our drinks. "Okay so obviously you know you we both are insecure about ourselves right? Well it's hard because I love her so much and she loves me the same. But even though I give her these kind compliments she doesn't believe me, like all that I'm saying to her is a lie. And she second guesses everything. She says that she doesn't even know if my love for her is real. So I told her that she should tell me when she figures out if this is real or fantasy." Johnnie just stares at me for a moment. "Dang bro. You both screwed up big time." I look at him, puzzled. "What the hell are you talking about?" He places his peace tea down and folds his arms looking somewhat sophisticated. "Yes I see where your coming from. Rylee needs to understand that what she has it pure and true. And she also needs to stop denying everything everyone says. But dude, you know how hard it is to get over insecurity like anybody. It's fucking hard and it's a delicate topic for most people to talk about. And to get on someone because of it is the worst thing. I'm not saying your the bad guy, but anyone who is hurt that much is like a lotus flower. It's beautiful straight to the core, but it grows in the harshest places that it does see its own beauty." "Damn, Johnnie that's some deep shit." He smiles props his feet on an empty chair and puts his arms behind his head. "That's what I'm here for man. Thug pugs know all and see all."

Laura's POV:

My and Rylee were eating pizza when I heard the front door open. "Hey Laura Im gonna go to the bathroom" said Rylee getting up from the couch. We she started to walk to the bathroom, Johnnie ran from the front door and jumped on Rylee "HEY MY LITTLE PIKARUE<3" he yelled. I laughed at how much he love my friends. "Agh halp" she managed to stutter while Johnnie was forcefully hugging her. "JOHNNIE BAD LET RYLEE MOVE AND COME HUG ME" i insisted. He grinned and came over giving me a kiss. I could Just feel Rylee smiling us. "12 inches!" She said laughing, then Johnnie put up his middle finger. "Uhm excuse me sir you did it wrong, do you hear this or do you need me to turn it up" she said turning her middle finger upwards. "Guys!chill!" I said laughing "Rylee go pee" said Johnnie. I slapped my hand against my face. Rylee laughed and went to the bathroom, and I pulled Johnnie over to the couch. "So how did it go?" I asked him. "Pretty well, I think I helped Damon with the whole situation im just not sure what he's gonna do" he said. I grabbed the TV remote turning on my recording of American Horror Story. "Well that's good I guess I just hope Rylee's feeling better" I said lying my head on Johnnies shoulder. Johnnie laid a Kiss on my forehead. Then I hear my phone buzz. It was a text from Anna.
Anna: hey I have some big new I need to tell you...
Me:okay? Shoot
Anna:I'm pregnant...
