Chapter 8: First Date

Laura's POV:

It was coming to the end of the first week of warped tour. It's been so fun. We've met all these new bands and youtubers and it's all with Rylee and the others. But today was our off day. So me, Johnnie, Damon,and Rylee decided to go on a double date. We were gonna spend the whole day together hanging out. I was so excited. We had to use a taxi. First stop was Starbucks because you know Damon he needs his starbys. We all got in the taxi and Damon volunteered to sit in the front. I sat in the middle. We stopped at the nearest Starbucks and exited the taxi and went inside. "Crap!" Rylee said. "I left my wallet on the bus". Then I said "wow nice going Rylee it's ok I can pay for you" I said pulling out my money. Then Damon said "no I can pay for her it's my treat". "Ok" I say then I grab Johnnies arm and walk up to the cashier lady. We then ordered our drinks and sat down at a big table for the four of us. Me and Johnnie were sharing since I didn't what that much. "So what's next?" I ask the group. "We could go to the movies" Johnnie says. "Yeah good idea" Damon says. "Yeah I think I saw one down the street from here we can just walk" Rylee said. "Okay we'll we should probably go now so we can see what showings their are" I say getting up. Then we all get up and we walk to the movies finishing up our coffees. We actually went to see "If I Stay"because the other movies had already started, but it was really good. Their was no one there since we were in a small town, so it was just the four of us and we sat in the front row. Me and Rylee sat beside each other, and on my other side was Johnnie and on Rylee's other side was Damon. This was kinda my first date but Rylee claims her and Damon are hanging out just as friends but I know their lying, I see the way they look at each other. Mid way through the movie me and Rylee wanted a refill on our drinks but Johnnie and Damon insisted they get them for us instead. I'm assuming because this movie is a chick flick but that was sweet of them so they left to go get our drinks. When they came back I noticed that Damon had not only refilled Rylee's drink but he got her some cookie dough bites. I noticed their was a sticky note on the box. I nudged her and leaned over to see what it said because I'm nosy like that. It simply said look at my hand. I smiled and elbowed her to look at his hand. He had his hand open for her to hold. Dawww. She slowly reached for his hand. But then I saw a confused expression on her face, and she lifted her hand. I looked in her hand and their was a necklace. It was a "He who holds the key" necklace from hot topic and she had the heart and I noticed he was already wearing the heart. I almost died from cuteness, Damon is Literally the sweetest. They held hands the rest of the movie. I leaned my head on Johnnies shoulder after kissing him on the cheek. I think I love him😊❤️.

After the movie we went to the mall because we heard they had a Hot Topic there. Rylee bought a breakfast club shirt that was pure awesomeness, and I decided to save my money for later. We were waiting on Johnnie and Damon because they were taking forever. They came out and they each had to bags. "What did you guys get" Rylee asked the both of them. "We both got a tee shirt" Johnnie said. "Well then what's in the other bags?" I said curiously. "Well..." Then they both pulled 2 dresses out. "Awww you guys got some dresses, they will look beautiful on you" I said jokingly while walking over to Johnnie and grabbing his face and giving him a kiss on the lips. "Their not for us. Their for you two. Were taking you two out on a date tonight to Applebee's." Johnnie said. "Awww thanks you guys"I said hugging them both. "Ugh do they have to be dresses?" Rylee asked. "Oh shut up" I said and we all laughed including her. The dress Damon got Rylee was a pretty black knee length dress that had music notes and staffs all over it. It really suited her and her personality. The dress Johnnie bought me was a Black dress with a white lace collar and white daisies and skulls all over it. They were perfect. And tonight was going to be perfect I just knew it. Warped is love, Warped is life(sorry I'm crazy)!
