As I searched the cafeteria, Jax appeared behind me. He tapped my shoulder to get my attention.
"Hey," He said, awkwardly. I smiled to ease the tension.
"What's up?" He shrugged before looking serious.
"I'm just here to remind you about tonight." I furrowed my brows, trying to feign ignorance. I still didn't really approve of the plan but I knew I had to do it if I wanted to remain in the fighting camp.
"What about tonight?" Jax's jaw clenched.
"The secret training. Get ready for it." I mentally rolled my eyes before sighing.
"Oh, that." Jax narrowed his eyes at me before nodding.
"Yes, that and make sure you come." I smirked.
"I wouldn't stand you up, Jax. Chill." Jax rolled his eyes and folded his arms.
"You better not." He mumbled before leaving.
I chuckled to myself before turning around to follow Jax out of the cafeteria.

I washed my face and tied my hair up in a ponytail before sticking my saber into my saber pouch.
I was getting ready to meet Jax at the training grounds and I was scared, to say the least. We could get caught and expelled but Jax was serious about this. I tried to shrug off my fear as I checked the time on the clock.
It was time.
I tiptoed past Rachael's bed before going over to the door. Using all my soft touches, I opened the door with my key, praying the door wouldn't creak.
Thankfully, it didn't.
Before I walked out of the room, I turned around to check if Rachael was still asleep. Yep, out like a light.
I walked down the corridors, my heart threatening to pound out of my chest. Just when I felt like I'd gotten lost after walking for seven minutes and losing time, I felt a hand clamp down on my mouth and the intruder drag me down the corridor.
This was it! I was caught! I would be expelled and thrown out of fighting camp without even staying for a week. I should be relieved but I felt a pang of sadness in my chest.
Just when I resigned myself to fate, I was pushed into the training grounds and spun around. I came face to face with Jax.
I was shocked out of my wits.
"Why the heck did you kidnap me?!" I whisper shouted at Jax.
"You didn't appear for almost ten minutes and I decided you were lost. I helped you."
"Yeah, by kidnapping me!"
"Can't you just let it go?!" I rolled my eyes.
"No, I can't. Why did you kidnap me?" Jax smirked.
"If you really want to know..." I raised an eyebrow, confused by his reaction. "Well?" He prompted. I sighed and shrugged.
"Why not? Spill." Jax smirked and began to walk over to where he had dropped his equipment.
"I wanted to scare you." I stood, dumbfounded.
"Wait...that's all?!" Jax nodded slowly, increasing my anger.
"That's all?!" I repeated, blinking angrily. Jax nodded smugly. I felt like smacking the smug look off his face but I just snatched my saber out of my saber pouch.
"Let's just get this over with."

After another hour of fruitful training, (yes, fruitful training because I learned two new moves and perfected some flawless warm ups) I sat on a bench beside Jax, gulping down water in a very unladylike manner.
"This was actually great, Jax." I said, grinning widely "Thank you so much." Jax just mirrored my grin before proceeding to pack up our training equipment.
"Let me help you with that. " I stated. I helped him to pack up most of the equipment to show my appreciation.
After we were done packing everything up, I turned to face Jax.
"Today was so fruitful, I'm actually excited for tomorrow." Jax grinned.
"Me too. You showed so much progress." I blushed, keeping my head down.
"Not so much." Jax shook his head.
"Alot! Let's get to our rooms." I smiled at him in response before he took my hand in his, walking to the door.
Just as we were about to cross half of the room, the door was flung open, causing us to dive behind the rack of dodgeballs.
Even though my heart was beating out of my chest and I was practically clawing unto Jax in our clonky sabers and equipment, I was actually concentrated on the fact that my back was pressed up on Jax's hard chest and his hand was clamped down on my mouth in a way that made sparks run up my back and face.
Jax leaned down to my ear and whispered "Don't worry, it's just a house watchkeeper." I was about to reply when I realized his hand was still clamped down on my mouth.
I tried to claw it off but for some reason, Jax kept his hand pressed down on my lips. I couldn't tear his hand off and I was just about to give up when a thought popped into my mind.
I tried to dismiss the thought, especially after we'd just finished some sweaty training, but I knew it was the only way to get his hand off my lips.
I licked his palm. Twice.
Jax's body tensed up as he frantically ripped his hand off my lips, shocked. I smirked as I realized it worked before dragging his head down to my mouth, aiming at whispering in his ear.
"Why are you so nonchalant when a watchkeeper is here and we could be caught!"
Jax placed a finger on my mouth in response, making me to hiss in anger.
FINALLY, the watchkeeper left and we both stood, still being quiet in order for us not to cause noise if the watchkeeper was still behind the door.
After five minutes of waiting in silence, I sighed deeply and turned to Jax.
"Okay, what was that?! We were almost caught and you were all tense when the watchkeeper first walked in but then you didn't mind. What happened?"
Jax just took my hand, arranging the clonky equipment and fixing his work out clothes.
"Let's just go. There's no more time." He wasn't meeting my eyes when he spoke.
I furrowed my brows, very confused as to why Jax was acting this way but I couldn't argue. It was obvious he didn't want to answer me for some reason and it was already late. I didn't want to risk getting caught again.
Grumbling and promising myself to get to the root of the matter, I arranged my own clothes and followed Jax out of the training room.
