Park Jaehwa hasn't had the best of luck. Her mother left her, her father died, she was let go from her job, and even worse, she has to go back and live with her mother in South Korea.
Everything around her seems to be crumbling to pieces. She's bro...
“Do you think the fans hate me?” Jae asked Jackson as she looked over the comments on her latest photo.
“Nah, they’ll get used to you. Some of them already love you.” He pointed out as he wiped off his shirt.
“I guess so.” She sighed as she scrolled through her old messages with Kang. Jae knew she should delete his number and block it but she couldn’t help but think that maybe he would text her back.
She knew it was hopeless to think that but she couldn’t help it. Afterall she didn’t even know why he stopped talking to her and it was killing her.
“Who you texting?” Jackson asked he stood over her and peered down at her phone. “Who’s Kang?” He questioned her.
“A major jerk in my life that I need to forget.” She sighed and slumped down in the couch.
“Well, what happened?” He asked gently.
“Well, it’s kind of a long story.” Jae told him.
“I’ve got until,” He looked down at his watch to check the time, “Four o’clock to listen.” He said as he sat next to her.
“I guess.” She said rubbing her face and then began to tell him everything from when she met him and from when she last saw him staring at her and glaring at her. After she finished Jackson looked at her in sympathy.
“I’m so sorry, that must be tough. I understand how you feel though.” He said reaching out to reassure her. “But now you have us and we’ll make sure you’re always happy and if that dirtbag decides to be rude again let me know so I can beat him up.” Jackson said with a laugh although it looked like he wasn’t really kidding.
“Thanks, Jackie.” Jae said with a smile which he returned.
