"Okay are you ready?" Jackson asked her as she fiddled nervously with her necklace.
"No. No way am I ready for this. How the heck do you freaking prepare for this?" Jae asked him frantically.
Jackson and JB laughed at this and looked at each other with knowing smiles. "You really don't. All you gotta do is go up there and grab the paper thing." JB said with a laugh.
Today Jae and Minho were graduating. She was so nervous and excited, but mostly nervous. All of Got7 was here to support her and even some of Stray Kids was here, knowing that Felix was here to support her was making the butterflies in her stomach increase. She was wearing a dress and she hated wearing dresses. They're just so... uncomfortable.
"Come on come on." Jackson said tugging her toward the curtain. "They're going to call you up." He said with excitement.
JB smiled fondly at Jackson which made her smile. Lately the two of them have been getting really close, everything was so great so far and she hoped that nobody would ruin it.
"Park Jae-Hwa."
Jackson squealed as her name was announced and several people turned their gaze towards them, although they didn't recognize them since they were kind of in a disguise. Jae smiled at them apologetically and walked through the curtain.
People cheered when she walked out and she smiled out into the audience as she walked to the principal. "Whoo, Jae-Hwa!!" A voice shouted through the noise.
Jae smiled in that direction as she heard Yugyeom shout her name.
"JAE OVER HERE!! GO JAE!! WHOOP WHOOP!!" Several people laughed at that and so did Jae. Her cheeks flushed pink as she recognized Felix's voice.
"Jae, is one of our new students this year. She's been our straight A student and has been asked by many dance companies to join them. She has declined all but was asked personally by JYP himself to be their choreographer for Got7." Many cheers answered to that which made her smile shyly. "I don't know if Got7 is out there but congratulations, she's very talented." More cheers and loud bird calls were sounded, which was what they agreed on would be their signature call.
"Jae, it is an honor to give you your diploma. We are so proud of you and we hope you will have more success in your future. Thank you so much for attending our school." Miss Min handed her the diploma and Jae felt a rush of excitement as she realized she was now a graduate and could officially move near Got7's fancy apartment and start her job as full-time.
After receiving her diploma she walked off the stage as another student was called. She let out a breath of relief as she realized that this was finally over.
"Well, I'm glad to finally have you out of my sight." Jinae said, blocking her way from leaving.
She could see the members making their way toward her but she couldn't get around Jinae. Jae was about to make a rude comment when a voice spoke up beside her.
"Don't even think about saying anything rude to her." Slowly she turned around to see Kang behind her with a scowl on his face.
Dread pooled in the pit of her stomach. Her heart raced with anger and hurt. "I'm sorry but I have somewhere to be, would you two please get out of my way." Jae asked trying to be as polite as possible.
