“Dad!” Sokka yelled as he walked in. He threw his bag on the floor and kicked off his shoes then ran into the living room where his dad was working on his computer.
Jae’s step-dad was an author, he was in fact the best author in South Korea he had the best-selling books and almost all of them had won awards.
Lee Seung looked up from his computer and his face brightened as he saw his two boys. “Minho! Sokka!” He got up to give them both hugs and smiled widely as he saw Jae. “Jae-Hwa!” He greeted her with a smile.
She smiled at him and nodded. “Call me Jae.” She politely reminded him.
He laughed and jokingly thwacked his head. “I keep forgetting.” He laughed.
“Dad! Can I go to the dance studio with Jae so she can teach me some dance moves?” Sokka pleaded.
His dad looked up at Jae to see if she minded. Jae nodded with a smile and he smiled back and looked down at Sokka. “Of course you can.” He said. Sokka squealed and ran upstair to change into workout clothes.
Jae laughed as she watched him go. “Make sure he’s really tired when he gets home.” Her step-dad said while laughing. Jae laughed and nodded.
“Will do.” She joked and went upstairs to her room to change.
Jae waited downstairs for Sokka. Her hair was in two braids and she wore black track shorts and a white t-shirt. She put on her black Adidas and laced them up as Sokka came bounding downstairs. He wore gray joggers and a white t-shirt with cut-off sleeves that read, “Sun’s Out, Guns Out”, with gray Nikes.
“You ready?” She asked him.
He nodded with excitement and Jae smiled. “I filled up some water bottles for us. They are in my bag in Minho’s car. He’s waiting for us.” She told him. He smiled and skipped out the door to Minho’s car.

“So what are we going to do first?” Sokka asked as they walked into the dancing room waiting for them.
Jae went and hooked up her phone to the speakers. “Let’s do warm ups and then I’ll teach you some dance moves.” She suggested.
“I’ve been learning the dance to Voices by Stray Kids.” She said as she walked over to him. “We’ll do that if it’s okay with you.” Sokka nodded with a smile.
“I love Stray Kids.” He answered.
Jae smiled and showed him what they were going to be starting with for warm ups and then got into learning the first couple of dance moves.
Once they were down Jae would play the song to where they left off and continue onward.
“Okay water break.” Jae said as she paused the music. Sokka nodded eagerly and walked over to his water and gulped it down. Jae looked up as the door to their room opened and in walked Kang.
He smiled brightly as he saw her and waved hello. She waved hello back and stood up to greet him.
“Jae, who’s that?” Sokka asked as he watched her.
Jae turned to him and said, “This is my friend Kang from school.” She said with a smile.
Sokka squealed and ran up to him with a smile. Kang looked up at him confused but smiled back. “Hi, I’m Sokka! I’m Jae’s step-brother!” Sokka greeted with excitement. “I’m Kang, Jae’s friend. It’s so nice to meet you.” Kang smiled as he signed. “What are you guys doing here?” Kang asked both of them curiously.
“I’m teaching Sokka some dance moves.” Jae answered. “What about you?” She asked Kang.
“My little brother practices here and I came to get him but I saw you and thought I would say hi.” Kang explained. Jae smiled and Sokka jumped up with excitement. “I want to meet your brother!” Sokka signed with excitement.
Kang smiled and nodded at Sokka. “Come with me and both of you can.” He signed and then turned around and walked out the door as both Jae and Sokka followed him.
They walked four rooms down to where music was blaring in a room and someone with jet black hair danced inside.
Sokka pressed his face to the glass and peered inside, watching Kang’s brother dance inside. Jae listened closely to what he was dancing to, she smiled as she heard the familiar tune and recognized the dance. He was dancing to Grr by Stray Kids.
She quietly opened the door and slipped inside then picked up where he was and began dancing along. He looked at her with alarm then smiled and continued dancing along.
“Wow, you are good.” Kang’s brother said to Jae as the song finished and he gulped down his water. He noticed Kang behind the window and waved to him. Kang came inside and waved back at him.
Sokka stayed behind the window and watched them, his cheeks flushed pink as he kept his eyes on Kang’s brother. Jae smiled and looked over at Kang who was signing to his brother. She turned and looked back over at Sokka who was still staring at Kang’s brother, he glanced over at her and managed a weak smile. Jae winked at him and his face turned red, she waved at him to come in.
Slowly Sokka trudged in and quietly closed the door behind him and walked up to Jae hiding himself behind her. Jae chuckled and leaned down to whisper to Sokka, “Should I ask him his name and introduce you to him?” He looked up with a small bashful smile and nodded slightly. She smiled and ruffled his hair and walked over to the two brothers, Kang was picking up his brother’s bags with a small smile.
“I’m Park Jae-Hwa, you can call me Jae.” Jae greeted to Kang’s brother. He smiled and nodded at her in greeting. “I’m Kang’s little brother, Chun-ji.”
“It’s so nice to meet you. Oh, this is my little step-brother, Lee Sokka.” Jae said stepping aside to reveal Sokka who was looking down at his shoes with a red face and slowly looked up at Chun-ji. Chun-ji looked at him with wide eyes as his cheeks turned slightly red. “Ah, I need to grab our bags, I’ll ask Kang if he wants to help me, so we’ll be back.” Jae said with a smile.
“Kang, you want to come with me back to the room I was dancing in to grab my bags?” Jae asked Kang. Kang nodded with a smile and turned to look at Chun-ji and Sokka who were talking and smiling and both blushing.
He turned to Jae with a small smile and pointed at them. “I think they’re getting along well.” Jae signed with a wink. Kang giggled and nodded then they walked out to get her bags together.
