After calming down from everything that just happened, Yuri sat down with Yena and her parents to talk. They gathered around the dining table while Yujin, still a puppy, sat at Yena's feet.

"So... You're both witches?" Yuri asked her parents.

"That's correct," her father answered. "I was a warlock, and your mother was a witch."

"We stopped practicing magic so that we could live our lives together as normal people. When we had you, we never saw signs that you were capable of magic, so we figured our lives would continue just as always."

"But, that isn't the case, is it, Yuri?"

Yuri shook her head.

"When did this happen?" her mother asked calmly.

"Yesterday... I saved a little girl from getting hit by a car. But when I ran to her, time suddenly stopped around me."

"Time stopped?"

"That's a rather powerful spell."

"I was surprised. But I was also really confused and a bit scared..."

"And Yena?" Yuri's mother looked at Yena. "How did you find out?"

"She told me after we got home."

"I see... And you haven't told this to anyone else other than yourselves?"

"No, ma'am," Yena shook her head. "Well... Actually, I did talk to an old witch who runs a fortune shop."

"Miss Bam?"

"You know her?" Yuri asked.

"We've met her previously during the Witch's Harvest."

"Anyways, Yuri, it's ultimately your decision what you wish to do now that you know you're able to use magic. Me and your mother will support you with whatever you choose."

Yuri nodded, accepting the words from her parents.

"Thanks for telling me."

Poof!

"Phew! Glad that worked out," Yujin said, turning back into her human form.

"Woah!"

"Yujin! Jeez, don't do that without warning!" Yuri pouted.

"Oh yeah, one other thing, my puppy is a werewolf," Yena said with a light chuckle.

"Yeah, I actually wanted to apologize," Yujin said nervously. "I was the one who brought that shadow bug thing in, so I felt kind of guilty."

"I see. The Shadowwalker must've latched onto you at some point."

"Did you feel it bite you?"

"No. It just made my back itchy from crawling on me."

"Okay. But just as a precaution," Yuri's mother walked out of the room momentarily. When she came back, she handed Yujin a bracelet with a purple charm on it. "Wear this. It's a demon repellent charm bracelet."

"Thank you, Mrs. Jo," Yujin bowed politely before putting on the bracelet.

Yena heard her phone go off and saw a text from her mother.

"Are you coming home soon?"

"Oh man, I better get going!" Yena said, quickly replying back to her mother that she was heading back from Yuri's. "I'll see you tomorrow, Yuri. Thanks again, Mr. and Mrs. Jo!"

"Bye!" Yujin waved goodbye as she left with Yena.

...

That afternoon, Chaeyeon had gone straight to Sakura's mansion after classes and met back up with everyone.
