After getting settled in Jack's and Barry's cabin and they meet the other cabin mates, Jack and Barry decided to walk around the boat deck. Rose and her mother Ruth and Rose's fiancee Richard get settled in Rose said to Richard "honey I am going to walk around the boat deck by myself and see what I can see, I will see you at dinner tonight." Richard said "Ok Rose darling. Just don't jump off the back of the ship or something like that." R0se gets to the boat deck and starts walking around, Jack leaves his cabin and starts walking towards the 2nd class boat deck the officers on the ship didn't see Jack and Barry go up to 2nd class they made it up to first class with out getting caught by a Titanic officer.
Rose bumps into Jack and didn't say anything to her when they passed. When Jack turned back around to face his buddy Barry, Barry said to Jack "It's ok Jack go meet her, who knows you might fall in love with her." Jack runs back to the girl he bumped into, and said "Madam, did it hurt when you fell from heaven?" Rose looks at him and said "You do know that I am engaged to be married sir." Jack said "yes I do, but when we passed I felt a spark between us, My name is Jack Edward Dawson I'm from Louisville, Kentucky, and I want to know all about you miss, starting off with your full name" Rose said "well Jack, my name is Rose DeWitt Bakater, I'm from Queens, New York and me and my mother and my fiancee is trying to get back to New York. Well you are caring around a folder, so I'm guessing you are an artist?" Jack said "Well, yes Rose I am an artist I have been doing it a while since my folks died and I needed to pick up a hobby something I could do for a long time so I choose to draw."
