Tears After Tears

The bed that Ruby slept in was soft. Very soft. It was soft like chocolate chip cookies when they're warm and fresh from the oven and have cooled down to a degree good enough for them to be eaten. She was clearly sleeping well, as her eyes were closed and she was having no nightmares. Grunting slightly, Ruby stretches and sits up from the bed she was in. She recognizes that this wasn't her bed. No, this was someone else's. This room was someone else's. Where was she?
Ozpin:Good morning, Ruby.
The young girl turned to see Ozpin, realizing quickly that this was Ozpin's room and no one else's.
Ruby:P-Professor Tessra. What am I doing in your room?
Ozpin:You got tired, so I carried you here.
Ruby:Oh, well thank you.
Ozpin:It is my pleasure.
Ozpin then walks up to the girl and hugs her. Although surprised, Ruby hugs him back. After the hug, the two start talking again.
Ozpin:Is there anything I can do?
Ruby:Well, I would like to have breakfast please.
Smiling, the two were now seen having breakfast together as Ozpin cooked eggs, bacon, and pancakes. The two were smiling as Ruby was eating breakfast at a medium pace, taking her time with the eggs in her mouth before moving onto her pancakes. This made the man happy as the little girl ate happily. After breakfast, the two talked once again.
Ruby:So, what'll happen now?
Ruby asked as they were now sitting on his couch in the living room.
Ozpin:Trust me Ruby, I've gotten it taken of. Everything will be ok.
Ruby then takes a glance over at a photo, picking it up to reveal Ozpin and Glynda. The two were just married and they looked extremely happy.
Ruby:You guys looked happy. When was this?
Ozpin:Many, many years ago. It was wonderful.
Ruby then puts the photo back where it was as the two continued talking.
Ozpin:Trust me, she's not as mean as you think. She's rather soft and good to cuddle with.
Ruby:I bet. Listen, about the crush-
Ozpin:Ruby, it's ok. We all have crushes on older people at some point in our lives. It's not unusual. Plus, some younger people and older people get married. Though, it doesn't happen all the time.
Ruby:Huh, that's interesting.
A knock on the door then grabs the attention of Ozpin as he creaks it open to see who it is and then glances back at Ruby.
Ruby:Who is it?
Ozpin:Someone here to see you.
The door opens wide to reveal Professor Goodwitch standing in the doorway. Ruby was of course a bit nervous as she sat down on the couch but didn't have too much fear in her bones as she knew the woman wouldn't dare lay a hand on her. The headmaster of Beacon then exited the building, leaving the two couch sitters to talk with each other.
Glynda:Ruby, I'm so sorry.
Ruby:I'm sorry too. I-
Glynda:No, you have nothing to be sorry for. It's me who should be sorry. For everything. I doubted you, I didn't give you enough credit, and I chastised you when I shouldn't have. I'm a terrible teacher.
Glynda's tears then escaped her eyes as she wiped them with the front of her hand and sniffles before speaking again.
Glynda:I want you to know that I never hated you or your team. I was just scared for the four of you and I was worried you would have gotten hurt. You weren't ready for our environment and I didn't know what Ozpin was thinking. But, you've proven me wrong. And, I'm very proud of you.
Ruby:T-Thank you Miss.Goodwitch.
Ruby says as she hugs her teacher tightly, this act of affection being reciprocated by the woman whose tears were still flowing down her face. Burying her face into Glynda's shoulder, Ruby's tears escape her eyes as the two held each other for a very long, blissful moment. Unlocking, Ruby rubs her eyes with her arm as the door of the home opens, causing the two of them to see team RWBY standing there, clearly looking like they're about ready to start crying. Seeing Ozpin's look, Glynda leaves the scene, leaving the four girls alone in their living room. Ruby was confused as she stood up, as well as cautious in regards to what happened yesterday. Suddenly, before Ruby could even prepare herself, the girls found their arms grabbing onto Ruby tight. The sobs of Yang on her shoulder as well as the sniffles of Weiss were occurring as everyone felt guilty about what happened but they didn't want their leader to think anything that they've done was her fault. Ruby shed some tears during this whole thing like Blake was but wasn't sniffling/weeping like Weiss was nor full on bawling unlike Yang.
Yang:"sobbing" W-We... "sniffles" We love you, Ruby! We're sorry!
Yang says as she continues sobbing.
Weiss:We're so sorry, Ruby! We're horrible friends!
Weiss says, fully bawling along with Yang. Blake, however, wasn't bawling as she was aware of what happened and that Ruby didn't blame her. But, she was still silently crying none the less, her tears being the main factor of that.
