I followed Ash into a back room where I saw the professor and a middle-aged man typing something in a giant computer with a Pikachu on the screen. Next, I saw Ash and a lady who had the same features as him so I guessed that she was his mother or aunt. I then saw Pikachu connected to a bunch of wires on a metal table.

Suddenly, the power went off and the professor told a guy to restore the system. I heard thunder rumble and saw outside the window, a dark cloud with lightning crackling. I quickly walked towards the giant window and saw something in the cloud. It was dark and of course, it was huge but it kind of looked like the legendary Pokemon, Zekrom.

"Can it be?" Professor Juniper said to herself. She came up next to me and continued to stare at the strange thundercloud.

"What, Professor?" asked a voice. I looked over my shoulder to find out that Ash had said it. I looked forward and turned toward the professor.

"I think Zekrom is in that cloud, Professor," I said. Thunder began to rumble and I heard Pikachu screaming in pain.

"Who's Zekrom?" Ash asked.

I said to him without looking at him, "Zekrom is a legend in this region and he's like a god, watching over people and humans."

Professor Juniper still faced the cloud and said, "His lightning is used as the pillars and the thunder was said to be the hammers of justice."

More thunder and lightning came and I heard Pikachu screaming in more pain. I turned on my heel to see that Ash quickly clutched onto Pikachu as his body shocked both him and Ash. I stood there, dumbstruck as to why he would do that.

Soon, the power came on and the cloud was gone. Pikachu climbed down from the counter and shook his body as if he just gotten wet.

"Pikachu, use Thunderbolt on me," said Ash. I saw Pikachu's head nod and he let off a thunderbolt. It shocked Ash as he said, "That's. Awesome. Pikachu."

Pikachu stopped and Ash asked if he could do Volt-Tackle on him. I still stood in the same place as his Pokemon rushed towards his at a super fast pace with electricity going around his body. He hit Ash and with that amount of force, they were both sent flying into the wall. The lady, who I was suspected to be his mom, asked if he was okay. He was but I wasn't sure about his brain.

I slowly walked up to him as he hugged Pikachu, glad that he could use electric attacks again. I was confused. Don't Pikachu always use electric attacks?

When he saw me coming, he said," Mom, Professor Oak, this is AK. AK, this is my mom, Delia Ketchum, and Professor Oak."

"Nice to meet you," I turned to face Professor Juniper, who apparently was behind me. "I'm ready for my Pokemon, Professor. " Instead of giving me three Pokemon to choose from, like when other kids get their first, she grabbed something out of her coat pocket.

I gasped, seeing an orange and yellow poke-ball that was glowing. I took it from her and continued to stare at it with amazement. Then, the professor handed me an orange Pokedex and six normal balls. I took them and put the balls in my backpack.

"What are you waiting for, AK?" asked Ash. "Call it out."

I nodded as I called the Pokemon out and I was stunned by what I saw.

It had jet black fur with a lightening bolt on side of its body. On its face, looked like its eyes were on fire with gray fur circling around them. Its horns on its head seemed to point diagonally upwards and its tail kind of looked like a black round leaf.

I picked it up and said, "Hello, I'm going to be your new friend, AK."

Nice to meet 'cha, mate, said a voice. I looked around to find no one. I glanced at Ash.

"Did you hear that?" I asked.

He nodded and Professor Juniper giggled.

"What you heard was Zigzagera's telepathy," she explained.

"Zigzagera?" Ash questioned as he pulled out his red pokedex and it said;

'This pokedex has no known data on this pokemon. Please try again.'

A new pokemon, I thought. That's wicked!

"AK, try looking it up on yours," Professor Juniper said.

"Uh...okay," I got out my pokedex and lifted it to face Zigzagera and it said;

'Zigzagera. The special pokemon. Zigzagera is the only known pokemon to be a fire, grass, water, and electric type. There is still unknown facts about this pokemon that we are yet to discover.'

A pokemon of multiple types like that? Now that is cool, I thought. I then turned to Zigzagera and asked, "Wanna come on a journey with me, Gina?"

Of course, I would, mate, she said. Plus, like the nickname. She climbed onto my shoulder and I turned to the professor.

"Where is the closest competition? " I asked.

"And gym?" added Ash.

"Follow me," she said. We followed her outside the sliding glass doors, where she pointed towards the woods with a path leading into it. "Follow the path that leads to the Striaton City Competition and gym. If you get into any trouble, there's a Pokemon center near the edge of the woods."

"Thanks, Professor, " we both said. Soon, out of nowhere, Ash grabbed my arm and ran down the stairs.

"Ash, why are you pulling on my arm?" I asked.

"Because I thought we should travel together." he said.

"Have you ever bothered to ask?"

"Okay," he stopped and glanced at me and Gina. "Do you want to travel with me and Pikachu?" He asked.

I nodded but then he grabbed my wrist again and pulled me onto the road towards the woods.
