There's something between us,
That keeps us connected,
We have tried staying away,
But somehow it always gets corrected.
Something keeps us together,
When I felt myself getting apart,
It wasn't intentional,
Yet I felt like you were acting smart.
It got all messed up,
I started finding places to hide,
When I came back,
I found you still by my side.
The fault could have been his,
Or the reason could be my mistake,
We are still standing there for each other,
Still there for each other's sake.
Everything is back to the way it was
We enjoy each other's company,
Remembering moments,
Those are awesome and really funny.
