it was a snowy afternoon, with yuto snuggled in his favorite sky blue blanket. he had a hot mug of hot chocolate with marshmallows right in his hand. he was really happy to know that he had a 'date' with a cute boy this evening. even the thought of jung wooseok made him giggle and smile. wooseok was coming to pick him up later today to go sledding with him. they were going to the biggest hill in the city, the ponanas peak.
since they had been eating dinner together for the last three weeks, and every time he was becoming more and more obsessed with him. wooseok was gorgeous and so hot. wooseok always bringing food for the next day or paying for somewhere nice to go. he was sweet, funny, and he gave the best hugs! he even offered to stay to make sure yuto was okay when he wasn't feeling well. he remembered the events perfectly...
"wooseok, you're so sweet!" "no, you are!" yuto smiled and laid his head on the table, and he took another bite of the delicious udon that wooseok had bought. it was very high quality, and wooseok refused to tell him where he got it, he said it was secret. but all of a sudden yuto's stomach was starting to churn, and he was feeling feverish by the second. "wooseok-ah, i'm not feeling well...maybe you should go. i don't want you to get sick." yuto said, as he held wooseok's hand. yep, he was holding wooseok's hand. they weren't going out or anything, (to yuto's dismay,) but the bromance between them had quickly sprouted and become a tall bean.
so wooseok actually liked it when yuto held his hand. it was smaller than his and it fit perfectly in his palm, and he had beautiful fingers that wooseok liked to just touch and play with. to be honest, wooseok himself was obsessed. yuto was perfect for him, and he wanted to hold him down so bad. he was was sweet, and his smile was cute and bright. there was even one time when wooseok was tempted to pin yuto down on his couch. but he didn't know if yuto felt like him or even close."oh, no, i should stay! you need help, you're looking really pale..." wooseok frowned as he touched yuto's soft face. "why don't you go lay down, hm?" wooseok picked him up and began to approach the couch, while yuto laughed and said, "wooseok! you don't have to pick me up!" he boop-ed his nose and whispered, "yes. yes, i do." laying yuto down on the couch, he wrapped him up in a fuzzy blanket and gave him a hug. "are you sure you think I should leave? maybe I could help you until you feel better?" yuto blushed furiously and yelled, "huh?!"
wooseok laughed and shook yuto's small hands, crying out, "i didn't mean it like that, sorry!" yuto closed his eyes and whispered, "wooseok? i think i'm gonna go to sleep, okay? just let yourself out. thanks for the noodles!" as wooseok nodded, and grabbed his bag, yuto whispered, "i love you." the quiet close of the door was all it took for yuto to fall asleep.
it was an amazing day. he did wake up the next day feeling better, but he infinitely regretted not having wooseok stay. after their date, or simply their hangout, (but hoping it to be a date,) he was going to tell wooseok about his feelings. Did he think that after hanging out for a while, maybe wooseok felt the same? it was worth a shot, whether that shot landed off the map or on the bullseye. as he looked out his window, he noticed that it had stopped snowing. "aw. there won't be enough snow to sled!"
he frowned and shrugged as he pulled himself off of the couch and started to pull on his shoes. he was supposed to meet wooseok at the peak at 3:00, and it was already 2:45. he didn't have much time, so he pulled on his hat and his snow vest, he was ready to with wooseok. as he pulled open the door, he braved the cold air as he walked to the peak. he seriously regretted not bringing a thicker jacket, or really just a coat to begin with. as he walked to the center of the town, he thought about what would happen with wooseok.
maybe he'll pick me up again. i really loved that. i doubt wooseok feels the same about me anyways, so any attempt i make is still shit, so lovely. as small, soft snowflakes began to fall, yuto smiled as a pretty white piece of ice landed on his nose. as he shook his head and made his caramel-colored hair swing, and he entered the park. since it was a monday, the park was nearly empty, with only the occasional adult sitting on a bench.
yuto pulled out his phone and texted wooseok,
seokie💞: hey i'm here, where are you?
𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑑 4:03yuto's view skimmed the park as he saw a tall figure in the distance, who was definitely wooseok. he waved and the figure waved back and started approaching yuto. yes, it was wooseok. he smiled and yelled, "yuto!" wooseok tackled yuto and pushed him into the snow playfully. yuto suddenly felt five degrees warmer and he hugged wooseok back as they laid in the snow. as he laid on the shaved ice, he noticed that wooseok had a large sled with him. it was shiny and blue, with the shape of a traditional sled, except it was much sturdier and nicer.
"so? are we gonna sled?" wooseok asked, as the tension while they laid in the snow was starting to get thicker. "o-oh! right!" yuto giggled nervously as wooseok helped him up, and wooseok held up his pretty sled. "what do you think?" yuto beamed and quickly said, "i love it! honestly, it looks great!" wooseok winked and replied, "just wait 'till you see how fast it goes!" yuto gulped, with excitement and fear, looking at the steep hill with a concerned look.
wooseok sat in the front as he pulled yuto into the sled. yuto, already shaking, whimpered at the sight of the hill, whatever excitement he had left one hundred percent gone. he hugged wooseok's waist tightly and whispered, "i'm scared. what if we die?" wooseok turned around and stroked his hair, smiling. "aw. don't worry, i promise it'll be okay. and if you die, I die first considering i'm in the front." that made yuto laugh, and as wooseok turned around again, he suddenly felt a lot less scared.
as wooseok's hand pushed the snow and tried to move the sled forward, yuto squealed as the sled started heading downhill. they both screamed and yelled, as the hill twisted and wrapped. yuto pressed his head against wooseok, not wanting to let go of his friend. as the hill came to an end and they were sprayed with icy snow, they both laughed as wooseok's face got covered in it.
yuto hugged wooseok as he looked up at the sky. it was starting to snow again. the beautiful snowflakes were falling as he looked back st wooseok. he was having so much trouble expressing his emotions right now- he wanted to kiss wooseok and tell him how he felt, he wanted to cry staring at him and knowing that he wasn't his. wooseok stared back at him and inside, wooseok felt the same. he wanted yuto so badly. it was torture to be with him for all those nights, looking at a boy who he wanted to have, and love.
and now he knew. he knew that yuto must feel the same. it was that light in his eyes, that shimmer in his lips. all the signs were pointing the same way.
"yuto. i have something to tell you." yuto blinked and replied, "oh, yeah, sure. what is it?" wooseok took yuto's hands into his and stared up at him. "yuto... the truth is, i'm in love with you." yuto was already blushing and was covering his mouth in shock. "i want you. so bad, i can't even look at you without wanting to kiss you, because you're sweet and charming, and beautiful. please say that you love me back." yuto's eyes were watering and a single tear was falling down his cheek.
"so do it." he said. "w-what?" wooseok stuttered. "kiss me." suddenly, the world felt empty beside them. wooseok put his hands on yuto's soft face and pulled in, placing his lips on his. yuto wrapped his arms around wooseok and let wooseok take control. it was perfect. the snow falling around them, and wooseok with his lips on his, he never wanted anything other than wooseok. he had found his one true love. thanks, universe.
