I pulled, hard, at my hair as I tried not to think about the other three Diamonds. Day after day, I'd try to convince them to leave the Earth alone and day after day they'd ignore me. It was this bit of knowledge that caused me to rebel against them in the first place.

It was something that, I had to admit to myself, I was really glad I did in the first place. I was kind of hoping that once it was done, I wouldn't have to even worry as much about the other Diamonds. I faked my own shattering so I could get as far away from the others as I possibly could. The three lights that I had seen in the sky just a few short minutes ago was rather unexpected, but the colours reminded me of the other three Diamonds.

Did the other Diamonds really care about me? I kinda had hope that wasn't the reason why those lights that I'd seen appeared in the sky in the first place.

I soon find myself start to think about Pearl again and I sigh to myself in relief, rather hopeful that I might have finally ceased my thinking about the other three Diamonds.

I turn to Pearl and smile. Pearl returns the smile. "Rose." She says quietly. "Is everything alright. You seem rather troubled."

I nod nervously and she turns back towards Garnet, who had, for, some reason, gotten herself stuck. I quietly chuckle to myself before going over to help her. Pearl and I each grab hold of one of Garnet's arms and struggle a bit.

"Garnet, are you okay." I ask as Pearl and I finally manage to free the fusion.

"I'm fine, Rose. Thank you for asking."

This single occurrence brought me back to the memory in which I had at one particular point, as Pink Diamond, gotten myself stuck back on Homeworld. I turn and run off, trying to get this memory out of my mind. Pearl chooses to follow me, and she leaves as well, leaving Garnet alone for the time being.

Garnet shrugs it off, confusingly, and turns as well, going a completely different direction from the two of us.

I sit myself down on top of a hill and start to cry. Pearl, who was not far behind me, clasped a hand over her mouth and moved to join me. I shifted a little as I felt Pearl place one of her hands on my shoulder. I relaxed a little at the touch, letting Pearl know I needed her by my side for the moment.

"Pearl?"

"Yes, my Quartz?" Pearl says quietly, looking up towards me.

I laugh a little.
