JEONGGUK couldn't sleep at all that night he came back from the Diamond War pack, there was something off about them, but what?
He didn't know exactly. It was like an itch in which he couldn't scratch.
"Jeongguk! There is someone waiting for you!" He heard Jimin shout from the floor below, immediately changing his thoughts causing him to groan as he got up; he didn't want to go down, why?
Well his father has been bringing in potential Omegas and Betas who could bare a child, though much to Jeongguk's dismay, he wasn't all prepared for that bonding crap. He didn't like the fact that because he was an Alpha, he needed to chase after them. He needed to make the effort.
Not that he made much effort in the first place.
Whoever turned up at his front door, they were immediately turned away and Jeongguk hadn't even given them a glance. He has also explained to his father that bonding with another wolf seemed a bit far fetched, though that was the only way you would find another half to spend the rest of your life with.
You'd mark them on the full moon, in the old traditional way, and that's when you would become 'one' with them. For Jeongguk, that seemed sickening. Yes, admittedly bonds were there for those who wanted a family and wanted to have a long life of love and all that, but for some - Jeongguk in this case - they simply weren't ready.
He doesn't know when he'll be ready and when he is, that is on him. He'll deal with it by himself and not with other people interfering.
"Jeongguk, son, listen to me. This is the one, I can feel it. She is definitely the one for you!"
Remember when I said that no matter what the situation, if the Alpha wants them to bare pups they'll force the bond; well Jeongguk's father seems to be doing exactly that.
Clenching his fist, he turned to look at his father, "How many times have I told you! I don't want to bond with some puny Beta or Omega! If I want to bond with someone, I'll do it on my terms!" The anger got the best of him, the claws retracted into his palms allowing the blood to drip from his knuckles; it was red mixed in with a slight yellow colour, almost representing the sun.
"Son..." Elder Jeon placed his hand on Jeongguk's shoulder to steady his breathing, he knew what Jeongguk was capable of doing and if he didn't want there to be blood shedded, he needed to act quick.
"Just talk to her at least, yeah?" Jeongguk huffed, "If it means you'll get off my back then fine." Jeongguk pushed his fathers hand from his shoulder and stormed to where the, uninvited, seated guests were.
"So what pack are you from then?" He heard Namjoon talking, Jeongguk smiled slightly; Yoongi and Namjoon were just too pure for anything. "O-oh, erm the la loba pack." Jeongguk raised his brows, she is from the all female pack then.
To get this over and done with, Jeongguk made himself present. "Jeonggukie!" Yoongi giggled. "Hey darlin'. Whatcha doing with Namjoon hyung?"
"Ggukie, we were just being nice to the guests that's all." Namjoon came forward, "Hey, it's okay. You guys were very sweet, so thank you for that. Why don't you go see what Jinnie, Hoseokie and Jiminie are doing mmh?" Just at the sound of their names, caused their ears to perk up, and without a doubt they rushed off.
Jeongguk turned back to his cold stone personality, "Whoever you are, I'm not interested. So you might as well disappear." The girl raised her brows, "What makes you think I want to leave?" Jeongguk scoffed, "It is clear you don't want this." It was her turn to scoff, "Well how do you know!"
"I know enough that we don't want this. You're a female Omega, so of course you'll do as you're told."
"I-I'll have you know-"
Jeongguk growled walking up to where she was sitting and slammed his fist on the wooden table, "What! What is it that you know?" And again the aggressive tone was back.
"This is my pack, so do enlighten me on what you know." She submitted easily, shaking slightly. "That's what I thought. Now go back to your pack and do not return." The Alpha was present, had Jeongguk managed to control the moon wolf? Well... no.
"Fine! This is your pack! But I thought of bringing our packs together as a treaty!"
Jeongguk laughed at that statement, "Treaty with your pack? Oh, girls name I do not wish to know, you do make me laugh." She huffed, "It is better to leave before you lose a limb, though it would be fun to see you scream, would it not?." He growled and with that she had left, without hesitation, with a couple of her people.
He just smirked watching her walk away, but scoffing at how idiotic she had just been trying to step up to Jeongguk like that, he growled at the thought.
Like he had said before, he didn't need a bond with another. Not until he feels like it.
Though, had Jeongguk gone around sleeping with boys and girls? No, in fact he was pure. No one had tainted his body, nor painted his skin in bruises. It was simply left untouched and he was okay with that.
"Jeongguk." The said male groaned at his Beta, "Yes Jimin?" He sighed, "That wasn't very nice of you, if you didn't want to bond with her, maybe you should have let her down a little more gently." Jeongguk shrugged, "Well... she's an Omega, why would I care if I was nice about it? She wouldn't have left otherwise." Jimin sighed.
"Anyway you're okay, you have your bond." Jeongguk added on.
"An impossible bond which should have never even been allowed." Jeongguk raised his brow, "I don't think there is a rule book on how many wolves can bond with one another."
"Jeongguk, I do truly love Hoseok and Yoongi, I just didn't think that nature allowed polybonds." Again he shrugged, "Maybe you guys are fated." He laughed slightly at his own joke. "Jeongguk, always believe in the impossible." Jimin winked and walked off to go and get Namjoon and Yoongi their daily dose of chocolate milk.
Jeongguk was done for the day even though he had just got up and spoke a few words, he was already bored, so he decided to go outside and watch the little pups prowl about.
Upon reaching outside, the immediate giggles of the little ones truly warmed his heart, but was he going to show it? No.
He kept the cold stare on his face, but inside he was slightly cooing at the little figures chasing each other; clearly playing tag. "Jeonggukie!" One of the pups must have noticed him, but the voice definitely was too deep for it to be a child. He furrowed his brows and turned around to see where the voice had come from.
Jeongguk licked inside his cheek and glared, "Stop calling me that."
"Why? You're my favourite cousin after all, are you not?"
Jeongguk laughed, "No Jaegyu. In fact I don't really understand as to why you're here uninvited?"
