______________________"YOU- you lied to me!" Jeongguk screamed, "How could you lie to me!" Elder Jeon shook his head.
"It isn't like that son. I was protecting you." Jeongguk scoffed, but there was a hint of amusement somewhere in there, almost like a laughter.
"Protecting me! HOW WAS THAT PROTECTING ME!" He picked the first thing up and threw it, his chest filtering up and down as he began to breath heavy.
His eyes began to glow their famous red colour as well as the tattoo, it began to highlight the outline of its shape. "I-I couldn't loose you Gguk, not like I lost mom."
Jeongguk furrowed his brows, "Mom? What does mom have to do with this!" His father stayed quiet, "Tell me!" His eyes began to tear up.
"She refused to give you up, so it cost her life. She traded her life for yours." Jeongguk gulped and shook his head, "I don't understand!" His father sighed, "It's best if I tell you another time, when you've calmed down."
Jeongguk was about to speak but someone had beat him to it.
"Oo look who returned." Jeongguk growled to the Beta, "Jaegyu, I wouldn't try it."
"For once I agree with my son, Jaegyu." The, small minded, cousin rolled his eyes and went towards the kitchen. Of course his intention wasn't to eavesdrop more than he has been doing so.
"If he wasn't my cousin, then I'll have his head." Jeongguk's whispered.
"Jeongguk." Elder Jeon sighed, "Just... just stay clear of Taehyung. That young Omega, he isn't safe for you nor is he safe for himself."
Jeongguk snarled. "What makes you think that I'll go anywhere near him again? What he does in his spare time isn't my concern." Again Elder Jeon sighed. "Gguk..."
"I don't care for his safety. I don't care for who he is with. I don't care for none of it, okay? So stop talking about it!" A burning sensation ripped through his arm causing a scream to make its way out of his throat.
"You did when I threatened him!" Elder Jeon raised his voice, but Jeongguk never responded as he fell upon the floor.
"Gguk!" Jimin ran down and held onto the fallen Alpha. "Elder, what happened?" There stood a frozen father as well as a leader. He went to open his mouth but only silence could be heard.
"ELDER!" Jimin yelled, causing Jeongguk's father to gulped, "He has a mate."
"A mate? B-but they don't exist! They never have!"
"I know!" Elder Jeon growled back. "But my son has a fated mate. He is part of the legend. That story everyone is frightened of hearing, well guess what my son is a descendant of Nochu!" Jimin gulped.
However, they both failed to realise that there was still someone eavesdropping. Jaegyu raised a brow, but smirked.
"My dear old cousin has a fated mate? Mmh." He scoffed and quickly ran to tell an old friend of his. And old friend of his who loves telling stories.
"Jeongguk, listen to me. You're here. You're safe, okay?" Jimin tried to calm him down, but that didn't change a thing. Jeongguk in fact needed Taehyung, whether he liked it or not.
"Lift Jeongguk onto the couch, let him rest. I know it is late, but if you can bring down Namjoon and Yoongi to look out for him that would help." Jimin tilted his head.
"But I can do that, they're only Omega's and sometimes Jeongguk's anger gets the best of him and they won't know what to do and plus that is my job?" Elder Jeon shook his head, "No not tonight it is not, because you, Jin and Hoseok will come with me."
"To do what?"
"We need to find that Omega." Jimin furrowed his brows, "What do you mean find? We will just go to his pack."
Elder Jeon scoffed, "We can't do that, the little thing ran away from his pack. I could smell the lonesome on him, but I could also smell another thing on him."
"What?"
Elder Jeon cleared his throat, "He smelt like death."
"Death? Do you want to be more specific?" Jimin gulped. "Death as in, now that they have started to combine the mating, Taehyung will struggle more being away from Jeongguk than Jeongguk woo from Taehyung." Jimin shook his head not understanding.
"Taehyung is a very strong Omega, but even the strongest of Omegas need their Alpha. Or in this case, every mate needs their other half. Taehyung can't go any longer without Gguk." Elder Jeon closed his eyes.
"We need to help both of them. I don't want my son hurt, nor do I want an Omega to hurt out, especially one as powerful as Taehyung."
Jimin nodded his head, "So what do we do then?"
"Find a sunflower, it will start to glow when we are near Taehyung." Confusion ran through Jimin, but he didn't dare ask. "Before you go and do that, wake up the rest of them. This needs to be done sooner than later."
Jimin nodded and ran quickly upstairs whilst Elder Jeon walked to a sleeping Jeongguk, "We will fix this Gguk, that's a promise your mother and I made."
