Jalyx - New beginning

Breathe

Alyx went home and I couldn't help but worry. We had literally just told each-other our feelings, then we kissed, and I asked her to move in. What if this was to fast, what if she moves in and we aren't as compatible as we thought we where.
I texted alyx to see if she got home okay. She didn't really respond so I just assumed she was busy, but hours and hours passed and their still wasn't a response from her. I texted again just to make sure she was okay. Still no response. I called Ricky and asked if he had heard form her and he said not since this morning. I started to worry because alyx is the type of person who replies to messages quite often because she is worried about making you upset.

I decided to go to sleep and if she still hadn't responded I'd go to her apartment first thing tomorrow. I woke up and quickly reached for my phone 15 missed calls from alyx, "what the fuck" I whispered, I got up quickly and threw on what I could find as I tried calling alyx back, there was no answer, I fed Flynn and then rushed down into my car and drove to alyx apartment as quick as I could. Her car was in the parking lot so I knew she was home, I instantly got a feeling of Hope knowing she was at least at home. I reached her apartment door, and knocked instantly,. "Alyx it's me, um it's jenn" alyx opened the door, but it wasn't the alyx I knew, it was a cold, anxious, scared alyx, I stepped passed the door and let it close, I moved the hair of her face and pulled her into a tight hug.

"What's wrong?" I whispered as me and alyx was still hugging, I felt alyx hold on tighter, as if this was the last time we would see each other, I pulled away slightly, "you can tell me" alyx looked at me and her face was ash white, "alyx?" I asked not knowing what was happening, alyxs hands were  cold, her breathing quickened she went and sat down on the couch her hands shaking, she tried to talk but it was like someone was chocking her, then I realised, she was panicking.

I rushed over to alyx side and wrapped my arms around her, "it's going to be okay, I'm here, I'm not going anywhere" alyx looked at me still not breathing I had no idea what to do, I grabbed alyx hands and warmed them with mine but nothing would work, "breathe alyx, just breathe, in and out, your okay"  alyx looked at me as her breathing regulated, I kissed her on the cheek and she fell into my lap as if she had ran 10 miles, I wonder what happened
