Alyx and I walked into my apartment and sighed, this was it, we had made it, we was each other's, finally.
No one knew what had happened, not jack, not Ricky, just alyx and I. Then all of a sudden we got a call from jack...
"Hey, are you with alyx?" My heart skipped a beat, "um yeah why, you ok?" Jack took a long pause before he spoke again "jack?" I heard distant sounds from the phone, murmurs. "Um Ricky and Colleen was in an accident" me and alyx looked at each other with fear "what do you mean? Is he okay?" Jack made a small sound muffled by wind hitting is phone. "I'm not sure I couldn't bare to see it, I'm going hone right now, I'm going back in the morning, he's in room 145" jack hung up the phone, nothing but silence filled the room.
Me and alyx went and got ready and hurried out of my apartment. We got the car and rushed to the hospital as quick as we could. Alyx rushes through the doors, "room 145 Ricky, close friends" alyx shouted at the front desk. We got our visitors badge and walked through the hauls chasing the numbers, "143, "144, there! 145!" Me and alyx burst through the door, we both stopped abruptly, Ricky was covered in bandages and cuts, we asked a doctor walking past what happened, Ricky had been run over, he was now in a coma. The doctor went to leave but before she could alyx stopped her with a question, "um sorry to bother you but, did any personal belongings get saved or found on him" the doctors pointed to a bag and asked us who we was to Ricky, alyx quickly responded "I'm his sister, she's his girlfriend" the doctor handed us the bag, Ricky's phone pinged as we touched it
"Told you" pinned across the screen.
Me and alyx was confused, told you? What was that supposed to mean? Me and alyx couldn't help it so we searched deeper, 15 missed calls from an unknown number, followed by a chain of messages
"Ricky"
"This is your fault"
"You did this"
"Now"
"Your time to pay"
"Unless you answer me"
"Ricky"
"Answer me"
"Fine, you pay the consequences now"
Me and alyx was scared to our core, what had happened to Ricky? Who had done this?
