So, today was normal just the usual lecture from The Lords, and then back to training. Wow! Just in those couple of days my team accomplished nothing, and they still aren't working together. The most trouble I'm having is with the boys they can't seem to understand how important working together is. So, for the next 5 hours of day light I got to get them to work together. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough time because there was a competition on who's the strongest team, so I don't have much hope in winning. This year there's fourteen teams in this Sky/Land tournament. The Sky/Land tournament have changed every time they play it. So, the older people don't win every time, and it gives the newcomers a chance against the more experienced riders. The S.L.T (sky land tournament) comes only once in 5 years (Quinquennial) and are prolonged over five days. Last time I remember it was a search and retrieve then a fight between the two strongest. There are rules but there's one that never changes is no using your abilities. This year is capture the leader, it's kind of like capture the flag but we use one of the team members. To take to the other team's goal. The teams are sub broken into group leader, 2 protectors, and 2 capturers. My team are dead set on me being the group leader, but I am afraid of letting them down because I'm the newest rider. Both James and piper had their choosing ceremony before mine and they have gotten more practice than I have. Nick and Aaron have had a whole year to prepare and connect with their creatures. So, I kind of feel inadequate to all of them. Training has gotten a little bit easier but were still trying to get a hang of things. Well, we only 2 short days to prepare I hope were ready in time. Piper and Aaron are working so well together it's like they have been working all their life together. Alas I'm still having some problems with James and Nick. Multitasking on the back of a dragon is almost too easy until they get bit better. Truth is, I'm kind of worried when they finally figure out that they need to work as a team. They're going to get me......
How was that possible? They totally got me, well until Eclipse (her mount) made them drop me a few feet before he caught me? Wow, I totally didn't see him coming. I gave them a blind spot and that's how he got me.
Don't have too much time to write. The Lords gave me permission to spy on the other teams. But, I told them that I just couldn't do that to my team or the other teams. So, the teams to beat is "Redthorn" for the Sky team, and "Lunar Knights" for the Land team. My team ("Rebel") is registered,we don't have any stats due to our rookie start. So, nobody knows what we are capable of. Redthorn has won twice in a row. Shoot! The other teams are having a uproar. what is it this time...?
P.s. The problem was team Ragnarok. They decided it would be funny to watch as the different creatures rolled over with the riders still on. The riders were all okay, but now everybody is on edge do to Ragnarok and the Night Gaurds putting hay between the mounts and their saddles. Unfortunately, a few of the sky fighters were up in the air and they fell out of the sky. Good news! All of the riders were saved. The mounts were okay? Although they all had a few scrapes and bruises from falling out of the sky.
Signing out, Phoenix
