It's the next day, Morning. Instead of hearing rooster noises its screams of them instead... I think. I woke up hoping everything that happened was all a bad dream, until realizing my body was killing me from laying on the floor that's covered with dead bugs, not to mention mine and possibly others way before I got here's blood.
I just can't believe any of this is real. Who would ever do such a thing to innocent animals, HUMAN BEINGS EVEN? I don't want to imagine if there are more places like this, I was already sick to my stomach as it is. Can't believe they do that to a little girl like Mari-
Oh no, please don't tell me they took- wait, oh... She's laying behind me, very close that she's almost touching my back. She must have moved next to me while I was sleeping, this is what she wants more than anything; for someone to be by her side.
I should probably find a way out of here for us to escape. Maybe the window? I get up slowly to avoid waking Maria up. As soon as I get to it I didn't know if it was really locked or not, it looked about as easy as opening any house door...
I look outside, it seemed safe to get out of, Maria wouldn't have been able to open it at all because of her height. Opening it was a pain though, couldn't get it to open a crack. It was probably stuck... So What now?
I could probably break it, but there's nothing to break it with at all in here. That's probably why they don't let her have anything to play with in here, that old man makes me suck, I'm not even strong enough to stop even him.
Guess I have to try something else. Before I could do anything else I heard the doors behind me open, it was Clarissa.
"Get up now children. I have food for you!" she says happily holding only one plate.
Maria wakes and sits up with with a huge smile on her face like she forgot she was here against her will. Do they not feed her when they're supposed to? I don't want to know that right now.
"Today I brought eggs and bread. Please share with each other equally."
"Yes, Mrs. Clarissa." Maria says as she takes one of the bread pieces.
"Wait, only one plate of food? Are you guys poor?! Or do you just not care? Do you feed her lunch and dinner?"
"Do not be so selfish young man! Mr. Wilmington provides you with food out of the kindness of his heart. You should be thankful you can have food."
"No. No, you people do not have hearts. You're terrible people who don't deserve the right to torture any these animals or any person. You deserve to live in a dirt hole like the one you work in."
"I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO INSULTED IN MY LIFE!! You dare to disrespect the elderly and the hard-working people of this facility?! You should be ashamed!" she says with her hands on her hips.
"First of all: you forced me and my family to be here. Secondly: you do NOT deserve respect after all you put us through even if you are just some old hag. Once my family and I can leave, we will report you to the police and it will be the end of this terrible place, and then... Maria can finally have a family she DESERVES!"
She had the most shocked look on her face I've could ever see on anyone. I could feel my face get heavier the angrier I got. She left the room with disgust, she even left the plate when taking off in a hurry.
"Man... These people act like nothing they do is bad here. Sorry, Maria... Uh, Maria?"
She gets up with her arms cross and sits on the other side of the room facing away from.
"... Uh, you okay Maria?"
She looks at me with with a grumpy looking face at me and turns back facing the wall, making a huge grunt sound.
