Reapers of the Rainforest

Chapter 3 | Oceanic Adventures

A few minutes after Kole stomped away from the village, Kole turned back into human, and the three others fell down. They stopped at a beach, and they were all covered in sand.

"That was sick!" says Shawn.

"We should stay here for a while, the view is amazing." Alyssa says as she grabs a pile of sand in her hands.

Raleigh went into a shop and grabbed some drinks for the other three, seeing that there wasn't anyone here. He read a sign saying "THE BLUE GLASS, LOCATED IN TYSLAN BEACH."

Tyslan Beach was a newly discovered beach, with many resorts and hotels on the shore in just a few months. It was ranked as the 7th most popular beach of the year.

"Hey guys, I think we should leave." Alyssa says as she looks at the streets filled with people, and she could see Yurken in the distance. Sadly, nobody could think of a way to escape. Suddenly, an idea popped into Kole's mind.

"Alyssa, you can shapeshift into sea animals, right?" asked Raleigh.

"Yeah, but where do you suggest we go?" asks Alyssa.

"We can go to Rexonian Beach, that's like an hour away right?" Kole asked the group.

Shawn came out of The Blue Glass after following Raleigh, holding a map in his hands. The map seemed to be a little soggy, but other than that, it was in good shape.

"Guys, you got the wrong beach. We are in Tyslan Beach, not Tyland!" says Shawn as he looks at the map.

"And where exactly is Tyland Beach?" asked Kole.

"I really don't want to say this, but we are in Northern Canada, while Tyland and Rexonian Beach are in Southern Florida." Shawn answers.

The group of people were getting closer, holding weapons in their hands, ready to fight the shapeshifters. The shapeshifters quickly thought of all the things they could do, other than surrender to Yurken and his bloodthirsty gang. Suddenly, Alyssa had a somewhat good idea.

"Who cares where we're going?! Let's just go!" Alyssa shouts.

Alyssa dives into the water, slowly transforming into a dolphin and she squeaked a signal for the other three to get on. In a funny squeaky voice, Alyssa said;

"Hold your breath!"

Everybody held their breath and they went underwater. Alyssa went very fast that she made a current along the way. The current was so strong that a thousand fish were stuck in it. Alyssa finally stops on another beach, as she slowly turns back into a human. Kole and Raleigh jumped out of the water and barfed. Shawn wasn't affected somehow, he says it was due to his power of gaming and that game characters don't barf.

"Do not ever do that again, Alyssa!" screams Kole.

"You can't blame me! I'm literally the fastest swimmer in the whole wide world." Alyssa says as she grabs some of her medals out from her purse.

The medals were waterproof and they weren't affected in anyway, but Alyssa was definitely sure that she lost some of them. She looked around, wondering where they were. A sign in the distance said something like;

"DANESR: RAIFONREST AHEDA ORF 53 MIESL!"

As the four shapeshifters went closer to the sign, they could clearly read it. It read "DANGER: RAINFOREST AHEAD FOR 53 MILES!" Everybody was surprised, they didn't land in Southern Florida, they were possibly in the middle of nowhere! Alyssa, Kole, and Raleigh panicked.

"Hey guys! Calm down! I just checked the maps of all the game characters I can shapeshift into and we are on a legendary mysterious island called Roesan, Brachthian for Reapers." Shawn said while everybody looked at him with a confused look.

They ventured into the forest, looking for a place to stay. Unfortunately, they couldn't travel to another island due to Alyssa's energy being wasted. They had to wait for 3 days. Shawn found a small clearing in the rainforest, and decided that their base will be there.
