Noen was sitting at the table with his mother and father, it was thanksgiving and his dad brought in the turkey, the table was full of luxurious food and the room was full of happiness. 'Noen, you're finally 16, this year you can cut the turkey,' his mother suggested. Noen smiled as he grabbed the knife and fork. He jabbed into the turkey with both utensils and looked up to his mom and dad; but they weren't in their seats, Noen looked around to find them and he couldn't see them. 'Down here Noen' he heard his mom say, he looked down and saw he had the knife jabbed into his mother's chest, piercing her heart. Noen dropped to the ground letting go of the utensils and then the room went black, Noen was sitting in a void of blank space. A light flickered in front of him and his mother and father were standing there. They looked so happy, they signaled him to come over and Noen got up and ran to them, but made no progress, he was running on the spot, trying to break out of it and get to his parents, he looked up to see them mouth 'I love you' and then..

BOOM!!

They exploded right in front of his eyes. He tried to look away but had two huge hands holding him into position, watching his parents explode over and over again. Noen had reached the point of tears and was screaming to get them to move and he heard a whisper in his ear 'this is your fault you selfish boy' Chase whispered into his ear. Noen cried as laughter erupted around him, 'you're stupid, you're selfish, they died because of you' the voices repeated.he screamed 'MAKE IT STOP!' Countless times but it felt as if no one heard him. He closed his eyes..

Chase was shaking him and screaming. 'Noen! Wake up!' Noen finally woke up and locked eyes with chase, tears pouring down his face, instantly pulling chase down into a hug, forcing his tears into chases hoodie. Chase rubbed his back and played with his hair, he knew he that's what made him happy and calmed him down, but it wasn't working, Noen wouldn't stop crying, 'hey bub, what's wrong' Chase asked.
'It's all my fault chase' Noen said, still pressed into chase's chest. 'What is?' Chase alarmingly asked. 'They're dead Chase, and it's all my fault, I was the one who told them to go out, and now they're dead, because I'm selfish.' Noen ranted. 'Noen it's not your fault, you didn't know there was gonna be some idiot on the road going the wrong way. You couldn't predict that' Chase responded.

Slowly but surely, Noen stopped crying, but still he hugged chase, he didn't want to let go, terrified that if he let go he'd start thinking about that nightmare again, how he was helpless, how he was alone. Chase just continued to be there for Noen, only moving to get Noen more comfortable, Chase laid down on his back and let Noen on his chest. Chase was staring down at Noen just to make sure he wasn't crying. He may not have been crying on the outside, but inside, Noen was a mess, he had so many negative emotions rushing through his mind and body that he had no obvious way to respond, he just had a blank stare, not saying anything to chase or even looking at him. 'We need to get up bub, we need to go and get some food and maybe get you some more clothes' chase suggested, Noen nodded and they got out of bed and as Noen was in the bathroom chase looked around the house for the stashes of cash he was told about. He lifted noen's mattress and found a bag filled to the brim with 10 dollar bills. Chase took 400 dollars and placed it in his wallet.

Chase and Noen were in the car and it was completely silent. Chase put on the radio and played 'material girl' by Madonna, Noen started swaying his head back and forth, chase laughed at seeing Noen so happy and full of life.

They pulled up to the shopping mall and the first thing Noen said was 'Clothes' Chase smiled and they got out the car and walked in together, hands intertwined.

They went into a small clothes shop and picked out hoodies, ripped jeans and a few pairs of vans. Noen picked up a blue summer hat. 'You look cute in that' Chase suggested. Noen blushed 'thank you' Chase thought Noen looked cute in everything, he's basically flawless to chase.

They went food shopping and came out with a bunch of ramen noodles, chocolates and snacks, not proper meals. They got back in to the car and drove home.

They got home and chase packed everything away. Him and Noen went up to the room and got changed into some baggy clothes they could lounge about it. 'Wanna watch a movie?' Noen asked. 'Sure! No horrors this time I guess?' Chase jokingly said back. Noen laughed and started playing 'the fault in our stars' (yes clichè gay don't attack me) and Noen rested his head on chase while the cuddled up on the couch, under a fluffy blanket to keep warm.

The movie had ended and Noen had already fell asleep on chase. Chase was still awake, listening to the cute little snores coming out of noens mouth. He looked so peaceful when he slept. Chase picked him up bridal style and carried him to their room. He slotted him onto the bed and placed the covers over him, chase got under the covered and spooned with Noen again, placing a light kiss on his cheek and drifting away slowly, but there was one thing on chase's mind: are they going to tell their friends about this? About the fact chase is now living with Noen? He wanted to wake Noen up so bad to talk about it but couldn't do it because of how cute Noen looked while he slept. He fell asleep next to Noen, hugging him tightly.
