Cancer Wish

As i was walking down the cold English street I was thinking about where the hell i was going. Thoughts of Warped Tour  crept into my head but they where soon interrupted by the loud honking of a horn. I turned round and saw a large white van driving towards me. Haha i didn't know sleeping with sirens where in town, i laughed to myself, but then focused on the more serious matter. Why the fuck was there a white van with 3 men about my age, maybe older shouting and Woolf whistling out the window coming towards me ..and slowing down..

"shit"  i said out loud and started to walk a bit faster. The van  slowed down to my speed and they where still shouting at me through the window

"oi emo wanna ride"

"tube girl get in, we're nice i promise"

"God we.don't bite...Or are you a scared emo fag!"

Everythine they made a comment about me and the tubes they all laughed as if it was the funniest thing in the world. I ignored them but this just made them even more annoyed so i started to run.

And they sped up.

I kept on running for as long as I could but I was starting to get out of breath.

"Leave me alone" I breathed I couldn't get enough oxygen.

"Ah can't breath little girl ha ha, we'll give you a ride home"  they all burst out laughing again.

I took a deep breath and ran all the way into town I knew they couldn't get to me only buses where aloud down here. But I still kept running. I ran in to blue banana and I had to hold on to the shop counter to catch my breath.

"You alright love?" asked the pink haired lady behind the counter.

I couldn't breath and could taste metal in my mouth.

"Cant...breath.." I managed to get out and pointed at my tubes.

"Right..God okay sit down" they lady bought me to a chair and handed me a glass of water. I drank it all quickly.

"Thank you"

"You need me to call your mum? or 99?" she asked worriedly

"Oh no thanks but no I'll walk, it's not that far"

She looked at me concerned and I could tell she was staring at my tubs, which made me feel awkward.

I smiled at her thanking her again and walked through the shop, slowly browsing through the clothes. Then i saw a Pierce the Veil, one i didn't have. Seeing those sexy Mexicans smiling at me from the tshirt made me even more desperate than ever to go Warped Tour. But i never knew how I'd get any money.

I decided to make my way down to the nearest bank and find out if i have any money left.  I entered the bank and immediately looked out of place. Everyone was wearing suits and had briefcases and.. where sweat free. Then i walked it sweating and messy and probably red in the face. I ignored the judging stares and walked up to the banker.

"I'd like to check my balance please. Raven Williams"

The banker stared at my tubes.

"Huh?..oh sorry yes of course ..Raven Williams."

He scanned the screen with his small beady eyes for a while then finally "Yes Ms Williams, your balance is £25.67"

"Oh okay thank you" and I quickly made my way out of the shop. I felt a sinking feeling inside knowing that would never be enough for Warped Tour and plane tickets to America. So with a heavy heart i made my way home, the long way though hoping I wouldn't bump into those dicks in the van.

When I finally got home Mum was still asleep and Jenna and Matt had gone home.

I tied up my messy black room and cleaned up the living room around my sleeping mum, next i attempted to clean the kitchen but gave up. There was no point asking my mum for any money I knew she didn't have any. So i switched on Kerrang Radio. Thats when i got the best phone call EVER!

"hello?" i asked the unknown number.

"Hello is this Raven Williams" said the crackled voice

"umm yeh it is"

"Great, Raven we would like to offer you your cancer wish! One wish for every cancer patient. What would you like to do?"

My heart skipped a beat. I knew exactly what to do.
