Across Worlds

The Prophecy

"How can I communicate with the outside world? My communicator isn't working.." Raven asked as she sat down on her bed that was right beside Nico's.
       "Yeah just send an IRIS message." Nico said as if it was obvious giving her a 'duh' look. "I don't have drachmas," Raven replied glaring at her half-brother.

"Right sorry." He dug in his pocket and got out a gold coin and tossed it to Raven who caught it effortlessly. "Thank you."

She put away the coin deciding to use it at a later date. Nico gave her outfit a one-over. "You need to change."
    Raven gave him an unamused look," what?"

"This is actually not that bad," Raven said looking at herself in the mirror giving Nico a nod of approval. "It isn't."

They wouldn't admit it but they looked strikingly similar. Since she was wearing his clothes, she had to admit they had a similar style of clothing. It helped that they were the same height. Raven had let her skin colour change to 'normal' which was basically the same as Nico's. Aside from her dark purple hair and amethyst eyes, they could be twins.
             "Let's go for lunch," Nico said as they headed out. Raven actually liked Nico. He kept mostly to himself, like her. But when they talked they honestly had a lot to talk about. They were rather interested in learning about the worlds they came from.

Raven noticed the stares she was getting but didn't acknowledge them. Nico lead her to the Hades table and sat.
   "Do we have any more siblings?" Raven asked as she tossed her apple around. "No, well, except Hazel, but she's in camp Jupiter, the Roman camp."

Raven nodded, she heard the slight tremble in his voice when he said no but chose not to pry. "Interesting." She let her eyes survey the crowd of half-bloods in front of her until she saw something...interesting.
    She noticed Nico's eyes stray towards a guy with almost golden hair and the brightest smile she had ever seen. From where she was she could feel his happiness, his glee and kindness.

"Boyfriend?" Raven asked Nico causing his cheeks to colour. "Don't be ridiculous Raven," Nico said clearing his throat. In response, Raven rolled her eyes. "Then stop ogling him."
     "I am not ogling him!" he hissed looking everywhere but at her. His eyes met Will's. The cute blonde gave him an award-winning smile and waved. Nico, in response, ducked his head, leaving Will puzzled. Luckily his friends drew back his attention, letting him shrug off the encounter.

" Yeah, you absolutely do not like him." She said finally taking a bite out of her apple. In retaliation for what she said he grabbed her apple and threw it behind his shoulder. As fate would have it, it hit Will Solace right upside the head. He turned sharply to see who had hit him only to see Raven shrugging hopelessly. Nico had shadow travelled out of there as soon as he realized where the apple would land.

Raven sighed, not having eaten anything as she looked for her half-brother. A hand touched her shoulder and she nearly jumped but relaxed when she saw it was just one of Nico's friends. He had a goofy smile on his face and oil smeared on his cheek.
     "We're being called by Chirion."

Chirion? The satire that had addressed her earlier? "I'm looking for Nico...so..."
    "Oh, he's already there."

Raven contemplated it for a moment. She had no reason to say no. "Who is we, exactly?" Raven said but already started following him.
    "The heroes of Olympus of course...plus you. That's Percy, Annabeth, Jason, Piper, Nico and yours truly. Hazel and Frank are there too but they're in camp Jupiter."

Raven nodded not really understanding him fully. "Okay ."

"And you are?" She asked as she allowed him to guide her to Chiron.
   "Right, the names Leo. Son of Hephaestus," Leo said grinning at her which she returned with a raised brow.
     "And you're Raven, daughter of Hades right?"
