"You're really b-breaking up with me?"

"Yes, Tae."

Taeyong stood with a dumbfounded look on his face, he couldn't believe what was happening, he just wished it wasn't true.

Chittaphon, otherwise known as Ten, stood in front of him with a tired expression on his face, "I'm really sorry, Tae. I just.. found myself slowly liking someone else," the younger looked up to Taeyong, "if I hadn't told you sooner, it might hurt a lot more."

Taeyong gulped, Ten was right, he did the right thing. It was better than getting cheated on.

But still, he just couldn't accept the fact that Ten was really breaking up with him, after long two years with each other.

They had the perfect relationship, after being in the same dance school together, they were fated for each other.

But what had happened? Ten found another human that was better than Taeyong, and now, they're breaking up.

"Again, I'm sorry, Tae," and with that, Ten turned before walking away, leaving Taeyong with tears streaming down his face.

Taeyong took out his phone and called someone, his best friend, the infamous, Kim Doyoung.

"What is it now, Yong? I'm still not over the fact that you didn't buy me ice cream yesterday, you rich ass."

Taeyong sniffed, "now's not the time to be bullying me, you ass. I'm deeply heartbroken, so you better get your bunny-looking ass over here."

"Fine, geez, someone's really going through a break up, huh? Now, what happened to you and Chittaphon."

"That's why I called you over here! So that I can tell you!"

Taeyong was going through a break up, but he still couldn't believe how stupid his friend was.

"Jaehyun?"

"Yes Dad?"

"You have friends, right?"

Jaehyun looked away from his homework and on to his dad's eyes, he furrowed his brows and nodded.

"Of course, everyone needs a friend after all. It's part of our needs, someone we can talk to."

His dad chuckled, "you sure are a smart boy, Jae."

Jaehyun smiled as he closed his homework and placed it in his worn out bag, "of course, I learnt it from the best," Jaehyun said before raising a brow, "but why were you asking?"

His dad just leaned back on the bed, "you see, we both know that soon, I won't be here to talk or support you soon," his dad replied, "I just want to know if you have anyone to stand by you."

Jaehyun didn't bother responding back to his father, he just hoped that it wouldn't happen.

Jaehyun does have tons of friends, but his father is his number one, he can't imagine losing someone who has been with him throughout his whole life.

After his mother leaving them with tons of debts for a rich man, life hasn't been easy on Jaehyun since.

At a young age, him and his father has started working multiple jobs to at least it a piece of bread for the day.

Unfortunately, after a year, his father fell ill and was immediately now reported to the hospital.

That gave Jaehyun ten times more work to do.

With his mother's bills, apartment rent, father's hospital fees, school tuition, food, Jaehyun can't even bother sleeping a wink because of the worry he might do the next day.

But he thought, this is life, it's hard, plus, I'm not the only one experiencing this kind of situation. That's what he has been repeating, it gave him motivation to give his fullest while working.

He just hoped that the new school year will go easy on him this time.
