01 | slippery ramps

First day of school was probably one of the easiest days in the whole year.

You just had to introduce yourself, what you do, what you like, literally giving every information about you.

But that wasn't easy for Jung Jaehyun.

The fact that he, a broke boy, was accepted into Seoul's most prestigious highschool, would make him a laughingstock in class.

If that would happen, it won't only embarrass him, but also his father, the man he dedicates his life for.

Jaehyun just shrugged off the nervous feeling and went inside the school campus.

It was gigantic, tall buildings surrounding what seemed to be the lobby of the school. Jaehyun would have thought that he was too dirty to even step on the floors tiles.

He continued walking, towards the counter where a woman sat.

Her face was small, eyes wide, you could easily tell that she was extremely beautiful. Jaehyun squints his eyes and looked at her name tag.

Jaehyun sighs in relief, thank God I didn't go missing in the first day.

He slowly tapped on the table, trying to gain her attention from the computer, and fortunately, she did.

When she looked at Jaehyun, she gave him the most heartwarming smile. "Hello there, what can I help you with?"

Jaehyun smiles back, "I need my schedule," He replied. Ms. Yoona just nods as she looked at the computer screen then back at him.

"Wait, what's your name?"

"Oh," Jaehyun clears his throat, "Jung Jaehyun."

She nods, "Jung Jaehyun..." She quietly mumbles while in search for Jaehyun's name through the list of about a thousand students.

"Ah! Here it is, Jung Jaehyun!" She snaps her fingers as she tapped on his schedule, printing it out as soon as possible.

After printing, she hands it to Jaehyun. "Here you go, and you can find your locker pattern at the back, along with your identification card," she states as she pointed at the paper.

Jaehyun just nods before bowing, "thank you!"

"Oh, and be careful of the ramps," she warned before sighing, "I swear, tons of students slipped on those dangerous things, why would the principal even make it?"

Jaehyun just chuckled before walking off.

"He r-really broke up with me, Doyoung!"

Taeyong cried out as Doyoung gave him another tissue to sniff on, the younger was unamused by the whole situation and continued eating the ice cream that Taeyong finally bought for him.

"Truth be told, Yong. Chittaphon wasn't really all that," Doyoung scrunches his nose as he had flashbacks of what Chittaphon did.

"Your just mad that he accidentally kissed Taeil," Taeyong retorts back, making Doyoung slap his forearm.

"That bitch should know his place! After kissing Taeil, he literally started teasing me," Doyoung growls before taking another big scoop from the ice cream container.

Taeyong just sighs, "but seriously, we were meant to be," he says, making Doyoung quietly snicker, "the heavens already opened the gate for us to enter," Taeyong continued, "but a spawn of Satan had to drag him down."

"You mean Hendery?" Doyoung raised a brow.

"Yes, that motherfucking Kunhag– hang? What ever that fucker's name is," Taeyong groans, "I really want to die as of the moment!"

"And God said, no," Taeyong glared at Doyoung who just shrugged back at him.

The two were currently on their way to the lobby, maybe off to chat with the receptionist, Im Yoona. She was oddly relatable for them so the two liked chatting with her.

Suddenly, as Taeyong went down the ramp, he suddenly slipped, unfortunately, making the boy in front of him fall along with him.

And Doyoung just watched with wide eyes, "oh fuck, God really said, let's get this bitch a man."
