Josh's POV:
The screams and cries filled the halls, the rooms. Doctors struggle to keep her down strapping her arms and legs to the stretcher. It was an awfully annoying fight the girl had put up, the screams were like knives in my ears. I banged my head against the glass window on my room door. I couldn't see them, the screams are coming all the way from the other end of the hallway, sadly my room doesn't give me that view.
Annoyed I sat back down on my cot brushing my black bangs to the side. I watched as one of the doctors walk by my window giving me side glance as I glared back at them. A lot of the doctors were kind of scared of me. Some even quick cuz I threatened them with their lives and even physically hurt some of them.
The old outdated intercoms crackled static noise coming from them before we could actually hear the voice talking to us. "All patients are now permitted to leave their rooms for one hour of free time in the TV room" the intercom gave one more static noise before shutting off like one of those old house phones.
my attention was shot over to the door the moment one of the doctors had knocked on the window. "Hello Josh. Are you coming out to the TV room today?" The doctor said as they began to fiddle with the keys in their hands.
I rolled my eyes slowly walking over from my cot to the unlocking door. "Do I have a choice?" I asked as if it were the most obvious thing in the world that I didn't.
The door flew open "Nope.." the doctor said gesturing for me to follow him.
I sat on one of the couches in the back not paying much attention to the old flat screen TV the only had up to a few boring news channels. Nothing was really knew about the room today. Melanie, a 13 year old girl with PTSD, was in the corner of the room staying far from everyone else. Jake, a 15 year old boy with schizophrenia was sitting on the opposite side of the couch from me. Kyle has a split personality.
I here have a major bipolar disorder. So basically I get really mad sometimes, and when I say mad I mean really mad, legit I hate everyone and everything about everyone. The only people I can actually stand being around is a few of the inmates here, and I still even find them really annoying.
I watched the doorway as three doctors walked around a girl, I guess it was extra precaution in case she tried to bolt. She had long pure-diamond blonde hair that fell so smoothly by her rose beige skin. It flowed like a waterfall by her waist. But something about her seems strange to me, her eyes. Out of all her killer features her eyes were the only ones that caught my eyes. They were a gray blue, but seemed so... I don't know, lifeless, or scared, like a young girl who had everything she ever loved taken from her in one moment, who had nothing, a helpless young girl who's soul was crushed oh so easily.
The way she walked, nearly falling with every step she took, she was obviously drugged up. She's probably the one who was screaming uncontrollably in the hall about ten minutes ago.
I stiffened up immediately feeling uncomfortable the moment she sat down in the middle of the couch. I didn't like being near people, they made me feel weird. She hugged her knees bringing her legs up to her chest. She seemed very uncomfortable as well. Seeing her state of being pretty uncomfortable I felt relieved. I could tell she wasn't gonna be all giddy with questions and small talk, I found it extremely annoying when people do that.
Kyle licked his lips getting up in what seemed like a second he had crossed the room wrapping an arm around her waist. "Hey baby girl" he said dangerously close to her face. "Any boyfriend out there in the real world or are you available?" He asked.
Kyle's two personalities are both really weird. One of them are the one that got him stuck in this place, his helplessly dumb side that gets him into all kind of trouble like robbing convenient stores and trashing people's property. His other one is the one he has right now, the weird girl magnet wanna be side were he just mainly is all over girls. It's just really creepy to be honest.
I watched in disgust as he tried to be "the man of her dreams". It wasn't really surprising to be honest, he does this a lot. What did surprise me was when she raised her right hand into a fist and slammed it against his face. Damn she had a good right hook. He fell back rubbing his cheek were she had hit him. I looked back and forth between the two.
Two doctors came in grabbing onto her arms pulling her from the couch. She didn't even resist, she just let them take her like a helpless child against her will. "Ok! Free times over. Everyone to your rooms!" One doctor said dragging her from the room.
I tossed myself onto my cot finally alone again. I couldn't help it but just think, no matter how sick it seems but I just couldn't stop thinking about her eyes. How lifeless, helpless she looked. I admired her eyes..
Admired... What's wrong with me..
