"y/n. wake up."

"fuck off tae," you grumbled tiredly, pressing your face into the plush warmth of your pillow.

"excuse me young lady?"

your eyes snapped open, head jolting up to see your mother standing next to the bed with a hard expression on her face.

"fuck– I mean— shit– wait, shit— sorry... I thought you were tae... please don't beat me," you smiled nervously, quickly throwing tae's arms off of you and sitting up to face her. she rolled her eyes, but –fortunately– brushed off your foul language with little more than a look of distaste.

"I just wanted to let you know that mr. jeon stopped by earlier."

fuck.

your eyes practically popped out of your skull. you didn't think he'd actually tell his dad! what the fuck! what a little snitch! how do you even explain something like that?!

'hey dad, that crazy neighbor chick broke into my room at one in the morning and stole some panties from my underwear drawer, you should really go give her a good talking to before she breaks into some other innocent boy's room and ransacks his private belongings.'

yeah fucking right.

"mom, I swear I can ex—"

she raised a hand, effectively silencing you. "I'm going to stop you right there. I don't want to hear a single complaint. they are coming over for dinner tonight and that's final. and you, missy, will be on you best behavior or so help me god—"

"wait, dinner?" you reiterated, eyes widening.

a scoff escaped her lips, "yes, dinner. I want you looking presentable and like you put in half a damn effort, deal?"

"deal." you easily agreed, quickly recognizing the 'don't push me' look in her eyes, but also very relieved that you wouldn't be getting punished for breaking into your neighbors bedroom at two in the morning.

she nodded, pleased with your compliance before turning on her heal and sauntering out of your room. you only let out a sigh of relief when your door slammed shut and you were completely in the clear.
