"Okay, Sopranos in the front, Altos in the back," instructed Millie as she and Sadie started off the Bellas first official rehearsal. The girls followed her directions and sat in folding chairs according to their vocal part.

"As you may have noticed," Millie continued. "Ellie is not here. Last night she was treble-boned." Millie picked up the empty chair that would have been Ellie's and moved it aside. "She has been disinvited from the Bellas."

"That oath was serious?" Y/n asked with a laugh from the back row.

"Dixie Chicks serious," Millie replied, unamused. "You can fool around with whoever you want to, just not a Treble."

"That's not gonna be easy," Iris called out from the front row. "He's a hunter." She gestured in between her legs.

"You call it a dude?" Y/n asked with intrigumemt.

"Iris," Millie said calmly. "The Trebles don't respect us. And if we let them penetrate us, we are giving them our power."

In the back, Fat Amy raised her hand and said, "Not a good enough reason to use the word penetrate."

"So," Millie started again, ignoring Fat Amy's comment. "Does anyone else have anything they'd like to confess?" She strolled towards the mezzo section.

Everyone looked around the room until their eyes fell on the girl that Millie was standing in front of—the only person avoiding eye contact. They stared at her and waited.

"It was an accident!" Blurted Talia. "I-"

"Turn in your scarf and go," Millie cut her off. She held out her hand as Talia looked at her in disbelief.

Millie raised her eye brows. Talia let out a defeated sigh as she picked up her purse and untied the Bella scarf that was knotted around the strap. She reluctantly handed it to Millie, who then gestured for her to stand and pointed to the door.

"Slut," Fat Amy coughed.

Talia began to leave but Millie stopped her.

"Take your chair," she ordered.

Talia's eyes widened. She grabbed her chair and dragged it behind her as she slowly walked to the door. The Bellas looked away from the mortifying scene.

Talia waited for Millie to stop her, but when she realized that wasn't going to happen, she dropped her chair and ran out the door crying.

Y/n looked at Millie in shock. "Was that really necessary?!"

Millie stared at her intensively. "This is war y/n. And it's my job to make sure that my soldiers are prepped at go time with three, kickass songs, sung and choreographed to perfection." She began to sweat as she took a step closer to the girls. "We have four months until regionals and if you have a problem with the way I run the Bellas—"

Millie's sudden gagging interrupted her speech. She turned away from the confused girls and covered her mouth with her fist as she leaned over, trying to steady herself. Sadie rushed over.

"Hey, hey, relax," Sadie consoled, patting Millie's back. "We don't want a repeat of what happened last year." Millie slowly stood up and the other Bellas exchanged glances.

Lilia raised her hand. "Yes?" answered Millie.

She then mumbled to quietly for anyone to hear, "what happened last year?"

"What are you saying?" Sadie asked, exasperation.

"What happened last year?" Lilia mumbled again. "...and do you guys wanna see a dead body?"

"Woah!"
"Holy shit!"
"Oh my god!"

The girls were gathered around a computer, viewing a YouTube video of the Bellas' performance last year. They watched as Millie blew chunks all over the ICCAs audience. Exclamations and laughs were heard all around until Millie finally slammed the laptop shut.

"Okay! That's enough!" she shouted, annoyed and embarrassed. Everyone went back to their seats as Sadie passed around packets. "This is a list of every song that we have ever performed. And you'll notice that we only do songs made famous by women."

Y/n flipped through the pages, then called out, "There's nothing from this century on here."

"That's because we don't stray from tradition," Millie replied. Y/n rolled her eyes. Millie then walked over to the white board at the front of the room. "Now," she started as she flipped the board over to reveal a complex flow chart titled Bella Building Blocks. "This is how we will become champions."
