A/N: Before you read, know that I wrote this book at a young age. So there will be plenty of errors of all kinds. I am slowly editing this story. Also, I am well aware of the cringy parts and dialog. Please excuse that, as I've stated previously, I wrote this when I was younger.

This is a popular book, my kind of popular anyway, so I won't take it down. Just bare with me.

Enjoy.

Soft and delicate fingers moved over the piano keys faintly as if nothing at the moment mattered. The melody that was coming from the instrument was calmly ringing through the big room. The room was sound proof so the big pack house couldn't vibrate the beautiful melody.

Life. Life is not a choice. It's a chance. A chance at experience, at talent, and beauty. The most important one that everyone focuses on, love.

Love is a choice. You want it or you don't. It sometimes comes out of nowhere. You don't get to pick who you fall in love. Love picks. It picks so you won't have to go looking for it. It finds you.

Samantha thinks about this all the time because she has yet to find her beautiful or handsome mate. She is currently 19 years old. You usually find your mate on your 18th birthday.

She won't let anyone know that she's suffering because she doesn't want to give them something to worry about. Her parents already have to worry about other pacts trying to tare them down of their name and strength.

"I can wait," she always tells herself. Her mother has taught her to never rush anything, especially love.

"It will come Sammy, and when it does it'll never leave you. He or she will never leave you. Be patient my child," her mother told her on the day of her 18th birthday when she cried.

So Samantha listens to her mother and waits now.

A soft knock was heard at the door "Darling, Joshua is here," her mother's gentle and sweet voice is heard.

Samantha stopped playing the piano and sighed "Thank you mother,I'll be down in a minute," she replied.

Her mother hummed in response and left to tell the boy to wait. She hardly even liked the boy but she had to put up with him. He is her daughter's boyfriend.

Samantha sighed and pulled down the lid of her piano keys. She put her hands on her knees and breathed in and out. To be honest, she was getting depressed each day she looked at Joshua. She felt like she was cheating on her mate that has yet to come.

Sighing again, Samantha got up and walked towards the white wooden door and opened it. She walked out of the room turning towards the door and locked it. No one was allowed in the room. No one dared to go into the Alpha's daughter's private room. They were too afraid, which it shouldn't be just because they are afraid but outof respect also.

She turned around and thanked the Goddess that everyone were in their rooms because she didn't want to run into someone.

She started her way down the black long stairs. She ran a hand through her dyed dirty blond hair. She didn't like that her true color was too bright so she got it dyed.

She was now at the bottom of the stairs catching eyes with her boyfriend who was smiling. She smiled back her chocolate brown eyes glistening a little because she did have somewhat feelings for him.

She walked up to him and hugged him and him her. She smelt his calonge. Her noise scrunched up, she really hated the smell. It didn't sit right with her. She'd never tell him that though. She didn't want to hurt his feelings.
