Voices. Loud voices were heard from within the pack house. That's what made Samantha sit up abruptly and look around. She was in Jessica's room. Well the room where she stayed. She looked around confused. How did she- movement was felt beside her. She looked over then down and she couldn't help but let a smile come on to her face.
Jessica was sleeping while curled up close to Samantha. Her hair was everywhere but she still looked beautiful to Samantha. Her breathes were even.
Samantha almost forgot what had woken her up until the strong smell of the Colds hit her.
Shit! She cursed mentally as she shot up from the bed making Jessica whimper and move. Samantha's heart swelled up at the sight. She looked so cute at the moment and her whimpering didn't help.
Another loud voice was heard. Now she knew that one. Her father. She had to get in there fast. She looked at Jessica making sure she was ok before quitly leaving the room looking around to see if people saw her come out. Luckily no one did. That's what she thought.
She hurriedly ran down the hallway into the living room. Her pack members were peacefully chilling around. Some of them. Some were being nosey and peeking around the corner which lead to the front door.
Samantha walked over there and saw her father and Jason arguing while the wives stayed back.
Samantha made herself known which lead to Jason looking over at her with disgust.
"Where is my daughter?" He asked her.
"She's in one of our guest rooms. She is fine. Someone found her passed out and attacked. He brought her here and our pack doctor tended to her. She will be ok. She's sleeping right now but if you-" she was cut off by a husked and sleepy voice behind her.
"Samantha.." She turned around and was met with a sleepy Jessica who was rubbing her eyes. Her hair messy. Samantha almost died right there. She looked so adorable.
Jessica moved her hands from her eyes and gasped. "D-Dad, M-Mother" she didn't expect to see this.
"Oh god sweetie" her mother said running to her pulling her into a hug "I was so worried about you. Are you ok?"
"Y-Yes mother" Jessica replied glancing at Samantha who looked like she wasn't in the same room as everyone else. She looked like she was thinking hard.
She looked so cute!
Right? Samantha agreed with her wolf. She was too busy to notice eyes on her.
"Samantha," her dad's stern voice broke her out of her thoughts making her look at the eyes on her.
"Yes.." she asked "tell our guest goodbye" her dad fakes a smile as he looks at the Colds.
Samantha frowned. She looked over at Jessica whose eyes were already on her. She didn't want to say goodbye yet. She doesn't know if she'll be able to see her again.
"I.." Samantha was staring into Jessica's dark green eyes. Jessica couldn't focus as they stared at each other. They just met. How could they focus? "B-Bye."
Jessica's heart pinched in her chest. Did she really mean goodbye?
Hey! Do something, don't just leave. Her wolf told her.
What can I do. Huh? There's possible no way we could be together. It's better if we just forget about it.
What? What type of-
Samantha calling her name broke her and her wolf's conversation.
She looked up and met brown eyes.
