When Worlds Collide

Chapter 4

He frowned noticing that only eight of them were behind him. "Where are the others?" he asked in a demanding tone. "You know what never mind eight is enough to for a fill." he said now smirking. Before the others had a chance to retort he shifted into a large water dragon with blood red eyes.

"What the hell!?" exclaimed Dave. They were all trapped by snakes which wrapped themselves  around Sam and the others bodies immediately after the man had summoned them. "You know I didn't lie to you. My village is beautiful, too bad you won't see it, it's just across to water and the food is delicious,well at least you look delicious. I was supposed to bring you all to village first but hunger makes you do crazy things." the man, now dragon said in english.

"Were we supposed to be surprised?" questioned the sarcastic as ever Simone. "I mean who blindly follows a complete stranger?, lost or not." she again questioned. The dragon flew upwards to the sky before flying down towards them, but just before he could taste them the snakes released them and they jumped out the way.

"How?" he growled out while moving towards them, not believing his 'pets' betrayed him. "Magic." smirked Carter at the dragon. "Want to see another one? Water manipulation." whispered Dave at the end of his statement. All of a sudden the dragon stopped advancing towards them frozen in position. He was now controlling the dragon, well his body at least.

"I can't move my body." the dragon furiously growled out in a deep voice before releasing a roar. "That's the idea, now we'll be asking you some questions you better answer." Sam said pointing in the dragons face.

"Where exactly are we?" questioned Belle. "We are on the indimeasure." answered the trapped dragon. "Indi-what?" questioned Sam. "Indimeasure." he corrected her. "First of all what is your name?" asked Belle not wanting to call the dragon it. "Asmath."  he replied "Like from Ben ten?" asked Cea confused. "Ben what?" Asmath says confused for the first time. "Never mind"replied Cea.

"What is an indimeasure?" asked Belle voicing the secretly avoided question. "The place were you shall die!" another water dragon exclaimed snapping it's jaw at them causing Dave to release Asmath from his hold. "Calling your friends? tsk, such a weak dragon." taunted Carter.

The dragons started circling them, but before they could attack Dave repeated the move from earlier. "Water manipulation." It was now Simone's turn to show everyone what she's got."Ice charge." the dragons were now frozen in the circling position and fell, breaking into tiny pieces causing the others to shield their faces.

"Whoops." smiled Simone sheepishly. Belle sighed "Let's go back and find the others." Cea said indicating their next move and that's exactly what they did. Going the way which they came.

"What do we do now?" asked Simone after reaching the place which they parted where they parted with the others. "You'll see." smirked Jerome. Sam called birds for assistance and that's exactly what they did. Assisted her, telling her what they saw and leading her.

Hours later and all of them were back together in an inn that Nathan found, seeking refuge for the night. After catching up with the other Belle explained what happened leaving out the part with Dave and Simone using magic.

It was now dusk and everyone was heading downstairs for dinner. The people here seemed normal enough and was willing to let the lost strangers stay as long as they want and have dinner. Rest assure they weren't dinner. After dinner Belle made sure to tell everyone that tomorrow, around mid-day they would look for a library.

The following day rolled in pretty quickly and everyone was happy they have had a peaceful and comfortable rest. They made sure to stop by Ms. Anne, the inn keeper to thank her and for breakfast.

"Let's all split into our groups and split up to search for the library. If and when you find the/a library read up and meet up back here in two hours. Here, I asked Ms. Anne for some  stopwatches to borrow earlier." Sam said throwing stopwatches at the group leaders.

After Sam's small speech the all split up and went in different directions.
