Two hours later and everyone had returned. Ready to share their findings. "What did you guys find?" enquired Belle, wanting to know about the mysterious island they were on. "I found a map." smiled Simone. "I found something way more useful." said Melody cockily. "And what is that?" questioned Simone challenging Melody. "A book."
Before Simone could retort Sam butt in. "A book? About what?" she questioned curiously. " It's marked Indimeasure, so I'm assuming it's about the island." Melody replied. " Let me see." Belle said taking the book. Belle opened the book to the first chapter and started to read.
In where no one would believe, or where no man would be able to venture, laid the island of Indimeasure. After being built indimeasure was surrounded by powerful waters that created whirlpools this idea was put in place by Poseidon himself to keep humans out.
Indimeasure is the only connection or pathway between where mortals walked and the Gods lived. Said to be crafted by Zeus himself indimeasure was the place where the gods seek refuge from the attack of the titans. This attack took place in the 1600s and after the gods had won the titans had promi-."
Belle was cut off by Melody's boisterous laughing. "You- you can't possibly believe that can you? You'd have to be well stupid." she said in between laughs. "You're well stupid and don't seem to believe that." sneered Kate. "I know righ- wait, what?" said Melody catching on. "Huh?" questioned Kate playing dumb. Mel only glared.
"Let's go back to the inn and retire for the day or evening. Tomorrow we'll pick up were we left off." Belle said already annoyed with all the complaining. "Do what you want and make sure to return to the inn, we need to leave in a week." Cea said giving an award winning smile.
2 week later
It's been two weeks and no one found the energy or motivation to leave. Belle was the first to notice this and decided to finish reading the chapter she had started. After reading the entire chapter twice, she was completely appalled. Belle the usually composed one was frazzled. She quickly scrambled to find her friends.
"Guys, guys, I know why we wouldn't get the energy to leave." Belle yelled running into the rooms with her friends. "Huh?, what are you talking about?" questioned Sam confused to why her friend came running in like a crazy person. "I know why we won't get the energy to leave?" said Belle slowly
"You know how we were supposed to leave two weeks ago? This place is called the city of time, although, the name has nothing to do with the effects the place gives you. Anyways, this place gives you a lagged or tired effect, if you spend more than a day and the book says the longer you spend the worse the effects get." Belle explained
"So you're basically saying we need to move before we get amnesia or something?" questioned Jerome. Everyone stare at him like he was dumb. "If that's the case we need to hurry and leave he's obviously losing his sense too." commented Sam rolling her eyes.
"Ok guys let's tell the others to get ready and by noon we'll leave. Sounds like a plan?" questioned Carter. Everyone nodded and decided to meet up with everyone back in the room
It's been three hours and now it's currently noon while most were ready, people like Melody were whining about can't being bothered to leave. The others scrolled at her.
"We need to leave, like now!" said Kate, angered by the girls' whining. "We can just leave you. Right Belle? we can leave her?" questioned Simone with pleading eyes. "I don't think that would be smart." said Belle. As much as she disliked the girl, it would be wrong to leave her .
"Yesssss, Lis you staying with?" questioned her bestie ignoring Belle completely. "Sure." smiled Lis. "Fine you can stay." said Belle surprising everyone, no one expected her to agree. "You too Lis."
After saying goodbyes Lis and Mel went back to there rooms while the others were making final preparation for their departure. As they were about to leave the inn keeper Miss Anne approached them. "Where are you lovelies going all packed up?" she asked sweetly. Too sweetly if you asked Sam.
"We're leaving." replied Ceaser with a fake smile. "I'm afraid I can't allow you to do that."
