Chapter 3

The following morning Belle got up early and made sure to wake everyone. Hours later and everyone was ready to continue their journey into the jungle. While in the jungle they walked pass exotic looking flowers and berry. Those whose phone or camera survived the journey took some pictures. "Hold up why don't we call for help?" asked Lis smartly. "No signal." Carter said in boredom

Three hours later and most were drenched in sweat. "C-c-can w-we take a break please?" asked Nicole in between pants. Belle turned around to see sweat drenched group members. She was also sweating just not soaked, if it wasn't for the slight shine on her face you couldn't even tell.

"Fine." Belle gave into the pleas. She then sat on a conveniently placed fallen tree while others sat in the shade for relief from the sun. "You shouldn't be stressing like this. Let me take over." Ceaser said trying to sound as sincere as possible. Belle and Sam looked at him amused. "We both know that's a lie."

"Your right I just wanted to lead. Can I? Hm? Please?" he questioned giving her his famous puppy dog eyes and pout. She chuckled at him never the less agreeing. "Sure." she smile before striking up a conversation with Sam.

About an hour later Ceaser was rounding everybody up say it was time to go. "Guys pack your stuff up. We've got to go now." No one questioned the new leader and listened.

They walked for hours upon hours but still no closer to leaving than when they started. They continued walking until Jerome suddenly stopped which caused others to stop because he was in front. Ceaser stopped "What is it?" he questioned for the reason of his friend's abrupt stop.

At this point everyone had stopped and was waiting for his answer. He whispered to Ceaser "I smell and heard something." he said, before Cea could reply a shirtless man emerged from the jungle.He was most skin and bones. He spoke a foreign language which Sam translated "he said he is from the Akwanta village and would like to know if we would like to follow him back." Cea thought for a moment before agreeing to follow the strange man. "Sure we're lost anyways right?" the others laughed at the slight joke while they man look confused.

Sam nodded and turned to converse with man after which he turned away, walking back into the jungle. "He said to follow him." Sam translated staring at the crowing birds. She smiled and continuing to follow and ran up front to speak with the weird man. After their conversation Sam fell back to tell the others what they spoke about.

"He said his village is beautiful, the have a unique culture and the food is delicious but, the village is surrounded by a small river making it look and island, they don't have boats so we'll have to swim according to him the water is shallow . He also said his people would be elated to see us.

Belle threw a look at her close friends and at Simone and Simone. They walked till they were finally out the jungle. They were shocked at what they saw a town, no town was too small to describe what they saw, it was a city a freaking city.

When the man wasn't looking Cea gave a quick order for Simone, Simone and Dave to follow and the others to stay behind in the city. Saying Nathan and Lia were in charge, luckily for them the man didn't turn around.

The man continued walking avoiding the town, as promised they continued following. They walked till they were on a river bank. They were there. The man smirked before summoning snakes which slithered to them. Then he turned around.
