When Worlds Collide

Chapter 2

Isabelle awoke to Ceaser shaking her. "Yes?" she questioned. Her head was pounding, her memories of what happened fuzzy before it all came rushing back. "Get up we're on an island with five other groups, including Melody's." Cea informed her. She groaned there was still a light pounding.

She sighed before getting up. "Everyone gather around." she said motioning around her. Slowly everyone began to gather around. "Where are we?" asked someone in the back close to tears. "I believe and island in the Bermuda Triangle. Before we do anything else lets get acquainted, afterwards I'll select a group leader. So let's begin" Belle said holding her head.

A group stepped forward. "Um..., I'm Lia, that's Shernet, Nicole, Lance and Marshall." Lia introduced confidently even though you can that she was slightly shook. Belle admired her confidence in a moment of disaster.  "Lia you'll be your groups leader. Next." Sam said as if she read Belle's mind. Lia nodded and her group stepped back.

Another group stepped forward. "I'm Nathan feel free to call me Nate, the blonde with blue eyes is Simon, the girl beside him is his fraternal twin Simone and the dead body beside us was Dave. Could you do us a favor and cut him off he's a bit heavy. He should have laid off the tuna rolls like rolls." he slightly chuckled. Belle glared at the body.

"Really funny." the supposed dead glared at Nate getting up. "I was sleeping." Dave defended. "Typical." Nate fired back. "I don't know if you guys realize we are stranded on an island." commented Simone rolling her eyes, annoyed at their childish behavior. They shot her a look she blandly ignored while Belle shot her friends a look that they understand that group was like them.

" Um......, well that was interesting and a good way to lighten the mood. Nate your the leader." chuckled Carter while Belle started disconnecting ropes. Another group stepped forward "Um. I- I-I-I'm Melody ,this is Rochelle, Lisanna and Mira." she clumsily stuttered out. "Lis your the leader." Jade smiled. Lis returned one. "No, Mira seems like a better fit right?" Jerome questioned knowing the answer. Belle nodded not bother replying .

"I'm Kate the only survivor of my group." Belle looked at her suspiciously. "You alone?!" asked Jade incredulously. Most looked at her like she was dumb. "Isn't that what I said ? Are you stupid?" she asked annoyed while voicing some people's thought.

Belle looked at her, annoyed by her attitude. "I'm Isabelle, most call me Belle, that's Sam, Jerome, Ceaser, Carter and Jade. Kate join Nate's group" Belle introduced. She looked around and looking out to sea before continued speaking." Let's get off the beach and see how far we can reach before nightfall."she said picking her stuff up, the other did the same before trailer behind her except her friends that is.

They were beside her, in front the others like leaders would. Kate was to the side of Belle's friends not too close walking as a messenger would. That was just some internal thoughts going through the others head. Others were that Jade was not fit to be there. She didn't have powerful aura like the others.

They walking walked for hours through a jungle with no sign of human life nor what seems like night. "Let's stop here, this place is weird, we haven't seen any sign of life except bird plus we don't know when night will fall." wined Melody. Others agreed with her tired and thirsty. Belle sighed but nodded nether the less. "Let's make a make shift tent with leaves and stick." instructed the curly red head known as Sam.

No one wasn't too sure what to do but that didn't stop them from trying. Two hours or what they thought was two hours they were and going inside. They or to be specific Ceaser and his friends were still trying to figure out the island. So far the only thing the only thing they figured out was the time.

The sun would move every three hours regular time so they assumed every three hours is about an hour and now the sun was setting.Three hours equals one hour, one day equals five hours so one day is about fifteen hours and they assumed  the night would be the same.

"Guys, get some rest we have a long day ahead of us tomorrow." said Carter feeling unusually tired. A series of goodnight could be heard throughout the make shift tent that surprisingly didn't seem like it wanted to tear down.
