*Ryllie*
Ipinatawag kaming lahat ni Mrs. Canoo sa Party Lounge and congratulated us for staying alive. It was well decorated with ballons and everything, ang dami ring pagkain... but I didn’t feel like eating. Anyone not involve of what had happened earlier was having the time of their lives.
Nilapitan ako ni Isabel and gave me a cup of strawberry punch.
“I confessed to Jarred.” Hindi sya nakangiti, dir in sya nakasimangot... she’s just neutral. I’ve seen this face before, her expression... was the same when I told them that Jarred was my boyfriend.
“You really like that monkey?” She just looked at me and gave me faint smile. I had a feeling that I need to tell her.
“ He’s not my boyfriend...” but it did no good. She started wiping away her tears.
“I know... but that’s not changing anything ryllie, he’s still into you...” umalis nalang din sya I saw Hartley and the girls comforting her. This time si Sam naman ang lumapit sa akin, she had a tray full of sweets. Tinabihan nya ko and offered some pero sabi ko okay lang.
“You know what, when we we’re inside the quest...” napatingin ako sa kanya, then she stopped talking and ate instead. It took her a minute para lumunok and talked again.
“his fear... you’re not his fear ryllie... But I think that you can do something about his fear. Nung niligtas ko sya sa quest... he was really scared” nagtaka ako sa sinabi sa akin ni Sam. I let her continue her tale while she was eating
“ He’s afraid to lose Noah... he’s afraid to lose his only best friend... but you we’re also there... you helped us finish the quest ryllie” there was a moment of silence between us.
“I don’t get it”
“Of course you don’t... but I do... You’re the reason why he’s losing Noah, but you’re also the reason why he’s safe. You get me?” nanatili akong tahimik and let her do all the talking.
“There’s a saying you know... YOU CAN’T HAVE BOTH THINGS... there’s always someone who gets hurt in the end... there’s no perfect fairytale Ryllie... and you have to deal with it.... so what’s the catch? Who are you choosing? Noah or Jarred... but then there are other options, you can always choose Stephen” She stood up and handed me cupcake, she smiled and left.
Medyo naguluhan ako sa sinabi nya... She’s right, there’s always someone who gets hurt at the end. The worlds not perfect. Starting with Noah... if I choose him then I’ll be hurting Jarred and Thea... but then if I choose Jarred then it means that I’ll have to hurt Isabel and the girls... though if I choose Stephen...
There’s no risk when I choose him... the right kind of wrong... i would just have him broken if I do that... and I can’t hurt him... why would I even thinking of settling things with a rebound?
