"hey brandon i need- OH SHIT."

the two boys got off of each other and avoided eye contact with halie.

"um sorry, i'll talk to you later." halie said quickly and shut the door. brandon rushed off of his bed and followed halie out the door. "wait, come back." halie slowly turned around and walked towards brandon.

"brandon what were you thinking? you snuck him in on a school night?"

"i know, i know. just please don't tell mom."

"don't worry i won't"

"like don't tell her anything. not the sneaking in part or-" he paused for a second to make sure his surroundings were clear. "or the gay part, please." he whispered. "brandon i would never, c'mon you know that." he smiled at her response and they hugged. "the only thing you have to do is tell me how it was once he leaves." haile said bursting out in laughter. brandon laughed and shoved her playfully. "okay fine." halie just laughed again then walked to her room and brandon did the same.

"fuck that was a close one." brandon said to zion while flopping on his bed.

"i was actually scared." brandon laughed at zion. he put his hands up in defense and laughed too.

"what are we gonna do zion?"

"that was a quick mood changer."

"z, i'm serious. we met like two weeks ago, we are both straight and now we're making out."

"i don't know what we're gonna do, but i do know something.

"what" brandon said looking up into zions eyes.

" i know that i've never gotten this close to someone so fast. and that even though we are both straight it feels right when we kiss."

"so is this a thing?" brandon asked while moving his head to be on zion's lap. zion starting playing with brandon's hair.

"it can be whatever you want it to be." zion leaned down and kissed brandon's lips, then pulled away with a smile.

the rest of the night was chill. they watched netflix and brandon even let zion play a couple fortnite games on his ps4. at around 11 zion got a text from elom.

"oh shit, i gotta go. my brother just said that my mom was looking for me."

"alright." brandon said saddened. zion was about to go out the window but then he saw brandon.

"hey b, look at me." brandon looked up while zion walked over to him. zion kneeled and gave brandon another kiss.

"bye b"

"bye z"

"hangout tomorrow?" brandon smiled and nodded. zion smiled too then jumped out the window. brandon walked over to shut the window and watched as zions car drove by. he sighed and jumped on his bed with face in the pillows. he turned over and just stared at the ceiling thinking.

"why do i like this boy?"
