Well... we finally arrived at school... 10 minutes late...

Ethan and Carrie had first period together, which was World History.

When we were walking to our class, we saw Liam in the hallways and greeted him. Liam was literally my best friend. We had so much in common, even the same birthday! Seeing him again was like watching the sun rise in the morning because he always knew how to make me smile. His playful brown hair, hazel eyes, and amazing smile was all I needed to see to make my day brighter. He was heading to World History class too...

But, I was stuck by myself in English class.

I walked in the English class, which was Room 143. At first, I didn't recognize any of my "close" friends, until I saw Scarlet near the back of the room, talking with another friend. I walked towards her and when she saw me, she automatically gave me a hug.

"Emma! It's so great to see you again!" Scarlet exclaimed.

Scarlet was such an amazing best friend. Her alluring wavy, red hair caught everyone's attention once she walked in the room. Her gorgeous green eyes matched her rosy pink lipstick. She was wearing a navy blue bodycon t-shirt and light-washed jeans with black sneakers along with a beautiful pink statement necklace.

We stood and talked about our summer, since we didn't really see each other often because of our busy schedules. I was part of a summer dance program and she was part of a summer athletics program.

After we finished catching up, the English teacher walked in the room.

"Good morning class, sorry I'm late. Everyone please take your seats." she announced.

"Scarlet, sit with me!" I smiled.

But before we knew it, the paired seats were all taken, so we had to separate..

I had to sit next to a a girl that I've seen around the hallways, but never really talked to, but, I was okay with making a new friend.

Meanwhile, Scarlet had to sit next to one of the most obnoxious guys in school, Andrew. Andrew thought he was cool, but he wasn't. He thought he could get all the girls, but he really can't. He thought he was all that, but he's not. I'm sorry that sounds mean but it's true...

Andrew flirts with every girl, and I mean every girl. Once Scarlet sat down in the chair next to Andrew, his face lit up.

"Hey there babe. You wanna stay over at my place tonight?" he smirked at Scarlet.

"Shut up, I'm not gonna deal with your shit." Scarlet answered, rolling her eyes.

"It's okay babe, I love the ones who play hard to get." Andrew smiled.

Scarlet smiled at him, silently laughed, but then ignored him.

English class was pretty fun actually, well, for me, at least. I made so many new friends and we all had common interests.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

The bell rang and we had to switch to second period. As I began to get out of my seat and exit to the hallway, Scarlet slightly grabbed me by the arm.

"Oh hey, what's up?" I asked her.

"Andrew's pretty cool actually. He's not that bad once you get to know him." Scarlet blurted out.

I looked confused. "You think Andrew's cool?"

"Yeah, he's not that bad."

I didn't know what to say, so the words came out of my mouth, "You do know he flirts with any girl, right? He goes out with them, has fun, and then dunps them like the next day."

"Emma! I obviously don't like him in that way! He's only a good friend."

"Okay... That's great Scarlet." I paused, not wanting to get in an argument with her. "Let's go to second period."
