PHOEBE BECKETT DOES NOT LIKE TO LIE. She hates people who are dishonest and she would rather tell the truth even when it hurts the recipient because, as her mother always said, honesty is the best policy. So she hates it when other people lie and even more so when other people thinks she's lied. Because Phoebe Beckett does not lie. Not to others anyway. Occasionally, she does lie to herself. That everything's okay, that the rest of the Beckett household are safe, that she doesn't like being friends with stupid, arrogant, selfish, Harry friggin' Bingham.

She tapped her feet against the pavement, her arms stubbornly crossed across her chest and she huffed a breath to move a piece of hair from her face. Now what was she supposed to do? Harry Bingham had left her stranded in his own home, she barely knew anyone that was oh-so-suddenly moving in to the Bingham mansion, how was she supposed to get to her own house? She pulled out her phone from the back pocket of her jeans and dialled the first number she saw, Luke Holbrook.

Phoebe never really knew Luke before this whole shabang of getting sent to a different version of reality. All she knew about him was that he was a jock, dating the most popular girl in school and someone who Emily wanted to marry, have kids with and grow old with. Luke was friends with Jasper but they never really talked. But loss seems to keep pulling them together. Jasper's, then Emily's. It was a horrible, horrible way of building a friendship.

Phoebe tapped on his contact and held the phone to her ear. The ringer buzzed for a few seconds before a voice went through the speaker. "Hey Phoebe."

"Hey Luke. Sorry am I bothering you?" Phoebe asked as she chewed on her bottom lip.

"No, not at all. What's up? Are you okay?" Phoebe relaxed at how Luke's static voice was filled authentic concern.

"Um, Bings--I mean, Harry left me at his own place and I need a ride." Phoebe answered, gently kicking a rock away from the sidewalk.

"Oh. . .what? He left you at his own house? Why were you at his house? Why were you with him?" Luke asked and Phoebe could hear a door close.

"I--"

"That's really weird Phoebs." Luke chuckled. "But I'm on my way."

"Alright, thanks Skywalker."

Luke stifled a a laugh. "Skywalker?"

"Yeah, um, like in Star Wars."

"Yeah I know Phoebs." Luke laughed and Phoebe heard the start of a car engine. "Just, no one's used that nickname before. It's cool."

Phoebe let out a small laugh. "Yeah, Emily thought of it." Freshman year was when Emily first noticed Luke and she had made up a code name for him so that they could talk about him whenever they liked. Skywalker. After Phoebe's first response of why? Emily made her and Elle watch the whole series from start to end. And even when their heads lulled to the side or when their lids got heavy with fatigue, Emily did not let any of them sleep.

"Wish she talked to me sooner. I would've put that name on my helmet."

Phoebe smiled. "Yeah, she would have loved that."

"Okay then, it's done."

"What?"

"Whenever we get back home I'll put it on my helmet." Luke answered and Phoebe felt warmth flood her heart.
