The clowns were coming, and Liz continued to look around for anything. Anything at all! This was NOT how she was going to go.

"I found something! I think it's a small button."

Liz said excitedly as she was reaching over the side of the cart.

The girls were now into the tunnel. Around them was a small walkway, incase of a fire, and some sort of jungle? There were fake bushes, fake trees, fake monkeys. Why would a jungle be in a love tunnel...?

"Wait don't press it! It might stop the cart!" Amber called out, but Liz pressed it anyway.

All of the carts started to move a lot faster. As they went into the tunnel, the screams from the clowns seized. Were they safe? Inside of the tunnel it was mainly dark, but you could see the occasional signs that said cringey things like "Love you!"

"I told you," Liz retorted to Amber

"What are we gonna do when the ride is over?" Kelsey questioned, "For all we know they could be waiting for us right now."

The cart went silent. They all thought about that, but only Kelsey had the courage to bring it up.

"Maybe we could..." Liz's voice trailed off as she couldn't find the words for what she was trying to say.

A maniacal laughter echoed through the tunnel, and then the ride stopped.

"Oh no..." Amber said

"Try pressing the button!" Kelsey told Liz

Liz pressed the button, then she pressed it again, and again, and again. "Nothing's happening!"

Footsteps echoed through the tunnel.

"Hide!" Amber whispered

Liz got out on the right side of the cart and tried to navigate what was in front of her... It felt very tall, and there was something else. They were... BRANCHES! It was a tree! Liz hid behind the tree and pulled a fake bush next to it.

Amber got out on the left side, and hid behind some small bushes.

As for Kelsey, she followed Liz on the right side. She hid behind another tree and some bushes a few feet away.

The same clown from before came walking down the tunnel one way, while another clown came down from the other way. The second clown was a man with a Mexican ethnicity, short brown hair, and a rainbow polka-dotted outfit.

"Well, well, well." The girl said, "What do we have here? No point in hiding. We know exactly where you are."

They both laughed, but the girls did not move an inch.

"What's that?" The boy asked "Oh, I know what it is. It's the sound of a poor hiding spot."

As soon as he finished his sentence, he immediately grabbed Amber and dragged her out of her hiding spot. He shoved her forcefully onto the floor, almost knocking her into the cart. She scrambled to get up, but the girl kicked her back down.

"Where are the other two?" The girl asked

"They're not here" Amber replied

The guy kicked her right in the chest, "You can have a quick death, or it can be drawn out... I prefer the latter, but your choice."

Amber tried to defend herself while spitting out blood, "I told you. They're not here. I stayed behind so they could escape."

"Let's take her to the fun room!" The girl giggled and kissed the boy passionately

"Good idea, stopping the ride!" Giggled back the boy

Together they dragged a screaming and crying Amber out of the tunnel.

~20 minutes later~

Liz and Kelsey emerged from their hiding spots. They couldn't believe what had just happened. Kelsey put a finger to her lips, indicating that they shouldn't talk... In case clowns were still nearby.

Before continuing down the tunnel, Kelsey went over to where Amber was taken. Her car keys fell out of her pockets when she was thrown to the floor. Kelsey sighed sadly but turned back to Liz. Kelsey and Liz walked down the tunnel to where their ride was heading. The duo were about to emerge from the tunnel, but they noticed that 4 clowns were waiting for them outside. They looked around, and found an Emergency Exit door. They went through it and emerged into the night air. They were at the edge of the carnival and behind the love tunnel building.

They could see the hill that they were laying on before. Sadly, the carnival was fenced in with barbed wire at the top. They would have to go through the entrance.

"I can't believe they took Amber." Liz whispered to Kelsey

"Should we go find her? The 'fun room' doesn't sound so fun..." Kelsey whispered back

"We don't have the slightest idea on where they even went. We could always come back for her with cops..." Liz replied

"Yeah," Kelsey nodded her head reassuringly "let's make our way to the front"

Kelsey and Liz crouched down and started making their way to the entrance. They hid behind a barrel when they saw that two clowns were patrolling the entrance.

The first clown had a name tag that said "Sticky" on it. Sticky had bright curly blue hair, burned face paint, a yellow outfit, and piercing red eyes.

The second clown also had a name tag, but his said "Steve". Steve was wearing a red suit, and a plastic mask. The plastic mask was of a man's face with a wide smile.

They both had a huge knife in their hands, while they paced back and forth.

Liz took a rock nearby, and threw it across the carnival. She didn't throw it too high, so the clowns wouldn't see where it came from. Both of the clowns turned around and ran to the area where she threw it.

This was their chance! Could they actually make it out?!

Kelsey and Liz out the carnival entrance. The clowns turned around and saw them leaving. Sticky and Steve started running at them, but the girls were much faster. Sticky took his knife and whizzed it at Liz.

The knife stuck into Liz's back and she dropped. Kelsey stopped in her tracks, she turned around to help Liz.

"RUN!" Liz shouted to Kelsey with all that she had left in her

Kelsey turned around and ran to the car with tears in her eyes... she was the only one left.

~~~
Sticky walked over to Liz. He twisted the knife in her back, and then took it out. He stabbed her again, and again, and again, and again. A pool of blood formed all around Liz. Sticky kept stabbing her-even after she was dead. Eventually Sticky stopped. He put his knife back in his pocket, and Steve gave Liz's lifeless corpse a kick.
