I've been staring at the huge oval halo cut diamond ring on my finger. Four days ago, when Alex said to me that we are to wed on the same day as my coronation, he showed me this engagement ring, a symbol of his proposal as the king of werewolf nation.

I learned that this was specifically and exclusively designed according to the taste of Alex. I never thought he could make my heart flutter for the first time by showing me such a huge diamond ring.

We still have two days to go until the big day. Different leaders are starting to arrive now but Dylan and Colby are the only people who are allowed to welcome the guests. Due to security purposes, I am to remain in either my chamber or in the presence of Alex. I am also not allowed to work in the laboratory for now.

My personal things are also slowly being transferred to Alex's chamber. Soon after our marriage, I am expected to be in the same room as him already like a true couple and I'm trying not to overthink it. We are moving way too fast.

"Hi, I hope I'm not interrupting you.", someone knocked on the door and as soon as I granted permission, she slowly poked her head. Clearly, she's not a palace maid. "Got my permission to visit you as well from my brother."

Who's brother?

"Alexander is my brother. I'm the older sister."

Oh.

"Come in, please.", I opened the door widely for her to enter. She smiled and hugged me which made me shocked but I was able to compose back myself. I didn't expect her to be a hugger.

"A gift for you.", she handed me a small blue box with white ribbons. "Open it before the wedding."

I nodded my head and expressed my gratitude.

As she look around my room, I can see that she's having another nostalgic moment. I took the time to fully look at her as well. She got the same hazel eyes as Alex, same dark hair but what shocked me is how big she is for a woman. Maybe, she's a warrior?

Overall, she's beautiful and strong. Who doesn't stan a strong woman?

Is that why Alexander's cold to me as well? Aside from what I did to him before, he saw me as a burden or a weak woman. I definitely cannot fight. I am not trained nor involved with fighting even once. I can't save my life or save another life when it comes to that aspect. All I knew is how healing works and how to invent elixirs.

"I'm Alexandra. Yes, we are named almost the same but we are not twins. I'm three years older than him.", she said while grabbing my hands. I'll also take that she's touchy but a warm person. Right then, I knew, she's a Luna.

She introduced more herself. She's not part of the palace anymore, she's a descendant of a royalty and the sister of the king but she considers herself as a Luna of Southland's White Lycan Pack now. Her mate is Alpha Gabriel, known as the most intelligent Alpha of Southland, hence, why they're powerful when it comes to war.

Their parents are currently travelling the world and according to her, they are banned from entering the palace as ordered by Alexander. The reason for that, I don't want to think and I don't want to press further about their personal problems. If she wants to say why, she'll explain. If not, I have to respect it.

"I knew about you escaping from Alexander five years ago.", she sadly said. That stopped my world and time. I hung my head down in shame. The moment she said that, I just want to get out of the room and never talk to her again. I'm that coward.

But, I know I can't. I have to suck it up and accept my situation. I did that to my mate, I can't run away everytime this happens. This is all my fault.
