I refused to go out of my room until the final day. The whole afternoon will be my coronation and on the evening, is our wedding. I've never heard of a night wedding but I find it romantic.

I've been crying endlessly, and I tried so hard to stop so I would not end up having puffy eyes and red neck and face on this special day.

The palace maids helped me on my celestial gown. It is very beautiful. I truly feel like a queen wearing this piece of art. The effort of constant cold compress on my eyes paid off, I look and , I feel beautiful as I look at myself in the mirror.

Before I know it, I am standing beside Alexander with my hand on his forearm. People are cheering to us. The crown is heavily sitting on top of my head.

I saw my team cheering loudly at the side. I smiled and waved at them. Alexandra together with her mate and their child, are smiling at us. Everyone looks happy. I'm happy too. But is he?

I looked up to Alex who is giving a small smile and wave to everyone. This was the first time I saw him smile and I cannot help but to poke his small dimple showing. He looked shocked and stared down at me.

Some people started cheering more, some laughed and some whistled by my actions. I got embarrassed so I tried to hide my face on his huge arm. But it only caused more cheers and whistles from everyone.

I was asked by the maids to go back to my chamber afterwards. I will be married to my mate in less than an hour. They fixed my hair and make up. I changed into my wedding gown. It was my first time to see it and I fell in love.

My eyes got teary, I never thought I'll be married this year. Heck, I did not expect to see myself in front of a mirror while wearing a white gorgeous gown.

I never felt more beautiful than right now.

"It's time for the wedding now, my Lady.", one of the palace maid announced.

I huffed out a breath and hold onto my bouquet tightly.

Let's do this.

"Please all stand."

That was the last thing I heard from Dylan who is obviously the MC for our wedding. Few seconds later, someone is playing a melody using a piano.

I inhaled deeply and tried to calm myself when the massive doors before me slowly opened. One of the maids nodded at me and fixed the train of my gown. I slowly walked down the aisle as I stare at my mate who is doing the same thing.

I never thought I would still deserve a grand wedding despite what I did to Alexander. After two days of contemplating my life and my future decisions, I know I have to woman up. I owe everything to my mate. I owe these all to him. I will make things right.

Even though we have not met that long and there's still no progress on our relationship, I made a vow. A promise. An oath that I will adhere and will do to fill all the spaces I caused in his heart.

I smiled at Dylan who I secretly asked for him to hand me the microphone when I signalled. The moment he did, I noticed everyone got confused. Alexandra's eyes widened from the audience, I don't know why she looked horrified.

Then I looked at Alexander, my mate, he looked the same. I cleared my throat and it echoed all over the room, I forgot that I'm holding the microphone already.

I grabbed the paper from the secret pocket of my gown but Alex's hand grabbed my arm. He's glaring at me but looked scared and sad.

Oh.
