MIGHT YOU RECALL... WE'VE GOT A SMALL FAMILY BUSINESS

---

The day had come. Kree filed out, thousands upon thousands until all you could see was a big blue ocean of Kree. Not a pleasant sight.

"You sure we can take them all? There's a lot of them."

"Yeah no shit, Stark. Now stay back and stay quiet. I've got negotiating to do."

The thousands of Kree standing before me parted like the Red Sea. Someone was coming through.

Not just one person, though. A group of three people strode through the divide.

Yon-Rogg, Minerva, and Atlas. The sight of them makes me want to throw up in my mouth.

"Who're you talking to there?"

Yon-Rogg, who was clearly the most decorated of the three war heroes came closest. I'd say about fifteen feet. The two cowards behind him stopped before he did.

"Oh, nobody," I answer nonchalantly.

Yon-Rogg lowers his gun. Is that a smile on his face? "It's been a while, sister. What has life made of you?"

"I'm sorry, did he just say sister?"

Can't have any distractions right now, so I turn off my comm.

I raise my eyebrows in response. This man may be my brother, but that doesn't mean I love him in the slightest. "Quite a lot, actually. I'd ask you, but I'm sure you're still running around doing whatever the Intelligence tells you to."

Yon-Rogg looks at me nostalgically. "I used to see you, you know. But then you went away and I never saw you again."

"For the best. I hate you. And not the way a sister hates a brother, I have a hatred burning for you deep in my soul that can never never put out."

He scoffs. "That sounds horrible. What happened to forgive and forget?"

"Yeah, I've never been about that. Probably something about being trained tortured and trained to kill. But I'm smarter now. What do you say you pack up this pity party of an army and head back to Hala?"

He raises his gun again. "Can't do that. The Intelligence gave me strict orders-"

I can't listen to him anymore. His voice sounds like nails on a chalkboard and is frankly a terrible reminder of my past. And what do we do when we don't like somebody?

We kill them, of course.

I speed over to my deranged brother and use my swords to cut his head clean off. Just like that, he's dead. Seems almost too easy.

"Well that takes care of that," I say after I slow down, watching his body slump down and his head roll away. My attention is then directed toward Minerva. "Minerva!" I greet with what is probably to much sarcasm. "Last time I saw you, you were like this tall." I motion beside my knee.

Damn, this girl must be terrified. I can see her hands quiver as she clutches her gun.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Does the Star Force not teach bravery anymore?"

"You killed him. You killed Yon-Rogg!" Minerva yells.

"I think that's kind of obvious, his head is like three feet in front of you."

"I- he was my friend."

I wipe a small spot of blood off my suit. "That sounds like a personal problem."

I can see a tear roll down her cheek. She didn't love him did she? This is too funny. "And I suggest you leave, or I'll do the same to you." Damn. I really laid the sociopath on thick today.

"Yeah? You and what army?"

She's gonna regret asking that. "Me and this army. Avengers!"

Nothing happened, and I realize I forgot to turn my earpiece back on. "Sorry, give me a sec..."

Once I get it back on I signal them again. "Avengers!"

To my delight the whole crew rises behind the mountain I'm standing in front of. It takes a second for the Kree to see them, but when they do their reaction is not at all what I expected.

They laugh. At us.

"You think that seven of you can take down all of us? Almost the entire Star Force?" Atlas says, I know what he's doing. Trying to diminish our confidence.

"No amount of warriors can stop the God of Thunder," Thor booms from behind me. I haven't actually met him yet. "And the Avengers, of course," he adds.

"Shall we test that theory?" Atlas asks.

"Let's do it," I smirk. Within seconds the battle rages to life. As they speed up, I do too, until they're all statues. It's so tempting to kill as many as I can right now, but the priority is disabling their weapons.

I run to the mother ship, but when I step inside it feels like a giant punch to the gut. I groan in pain and struggle for breath.

"Keaton, you alright?"  Spangles asks.

I delay answering until I can actually breathe again. "Yup," I mewl, trying to figure out what going on in here. I look out the door behind me as I realize things are happening at a normal pace. "Uh, minor setback guys. My powers don't seem to work in here."

"Well that's just great," Rogers quips. "Need backup?" I look around the corners and don't see too many guards.

"Not unless you can get here in the next... 4 seconds."

"Your'e on your own."

Okay, okay. Now time to think back the the countless hours I spent on this very ship. Tech room, tech room. It doesn't take long for my way-finding to attract the attention of a couple guards.

"You're not supposed to be in here," one points out.

"Uhh," I don't bother thinking of an excuse so I knee him on the balls and plunge my swords through his stomach. The other two guards and I fight. One lands a hit on my face, opening un a cut on my forehead. I try not to let this distract me as I jab my swords in to his body as well. The last guard seems to surrender, raising his hands. I know this is a trick so I slash his stomach and take his gun, I might need it.

Unfortunately, the second guy isn't quite dead yet. "For the good of all K-Kree," he moans.

"Oh, shut up," I say as I kick him in the face.

I glance into the room they were guarding, and find exactly what I was looking for. Computers upon computers all circled around the one main computer.

Running to it, it asks me for a log in. Yon-Rogg is the only person that has clearance to shut down all mobile weapons, so I try out a few passwords that could work for him.

None of the passwords I try are working.

"Hey Lightning, feel like picking up the pace? We're struggling out here!" Tony yells.

"Sorry, I'm going as fast as I can," I admit, typing in more possibilities.

19 incorrect passwords. One attempt remaining.

How can this be, I've tried everything! Birthdays, names, everything except...
