The whole story.

That how my Friday night went down. You see now why Felix couldn't be mixed in with this, if they even knew that he fought with someone and rammed his car just to save me, he wouldn't be accepted to any of the colleges he wanted. They would turn him away just for having a criminal record.

I'm taking the blame for this one, I jumped in the car with the weird man and we mysteriously got in a crash because he was speeding. The fight was with some other kids from the public high school. I had my plan all worked out in my head. Felix just needed to trust me and go along with it.

"I'm stupid for ever leaving you in the car alone"
I picked up his hand and placed it in mine. I didn't want to let go, not for a second.

"Felix, my sweet little Felix who I still remember taking his brown bear to school" he chucks a smile at me

"you could never be stupid, maybe a little dumb but never stupid. You're the smartest kid in the entire school"
"shut up el" he pushes me back and we giggle to ourselves.

We hadn't had a decent laugh before and it was nice to have one every now and then. If I could tell you one person who could make me laugh in the worst of situation, it would be the man sitting right beside me now.

"Axel is still pretty up tight and thinks you're going to crack under pressure and tell someone."

"hey, I made a promise that I would tell anyone, and you know I always keep my promises"

"yeah I can trust you on that one. Do you remember the promise 4 years ago at that goat farm we visited?" He couldn't keep his laughter in

"you mean the one where I promised I would buy you a goat if you scored a touchdown at your final ever football game?" I kept a massive grin on my face.

"bingo that's the one El"
"okay, okay I made that promise because I doubted you would even get on the team with your chicken legs"
he pushes me back until I almost fall of the seat, while still laughing.

"you're such a mean person sometimes" his face was full of happiness. He was laughing like no one was watching and was actually enjoying being around me.

A loud whistle sound travels across the field to us and our laughter dies to silent. It was Axel with his big navy-blue football jumper hanged across his body and his gym bag ready for practice. They had basketball training for the rest of the afternoon while i had another class to attend.

"can I come over this afternoon, El?" he raised his head to my face while jumping down the grandstand.
"of course you can" I say with a big smile.

He runs off over to Axel and the 2 had a discussion and run off into the stadium. They had this big game coming up on Saturday and the team wasn't in good shape at all, they were shit to say the least. They couldn't score, half the team had injuries and most of them didn't even bother showing up for practice.

We had resolved all bad blood between us, and things were looking on the Brightside for once. Felix and I were in a good place, my mom and I was a different story, but I'll make it up to her this afternoon. I jumped off the grandstand, collecting my bag and lunch and headed off to the third class for today, which was the magnificent and amazing biology, my favourite class in the entire universe. I was not excited, these classes took forever, and it was just a room full of kids who were tired, ready for bed and not wanting to learn anything. So, we all sat down, pulled out our mountain of books and began ready them all intensely. The teacher who was this science freak always watched his David Attenborough movies each lesson, he would stick his headphones on and block out everything else. how I wished I could do that this lesson but no. I had a massive test to prepare for next week. This test was big and went towards a lot of our final grade so I had to ace it otherwise I wouldn't graduate.
