"And they all died, the end!" Lloyd finished.

"What!? That was a terrible ending!" Kai exclaimed.

"And your point is..?" Lloyd prodded.

Zane rolled his eyes. It was a year after the Final Battle, and Lloyd was still acting like a kid.

"Grow up, Lloyd," Cole said.

"I did. Remember?"

"That was last year. Remember?"

"Guys, I'm trying to think," Nya interrupted, doing a crossword puzzle. "Hmm... Nine letters, how Yoda speaks, second letter 'y,' sixth letter 'b.' Zane?" Nya looked toward him.

"Hyperbole."

"Thank you." Nya wrote in the word.

"Nya, stop using Zane as your answer sheet. That's cheating," Jay said.

"Says the guy who has Zane help him do really hard puzzles," Nya retorted.

Zane sighed. "I help everyone with something. Don't argue."

Lloyd looked out the window. They were high above the clouds. If he focused enough, he could almost imagine that they were on the Bounty. But, sadly, they were only in an airplane.

"I wish the Ultradragon would come back," Kai said, sitting next to Lloyd.

"Me too," Cole replied. "Rocky wouldn't stay away so long unless he had something to do."

"I was actually thinking about the Bounty." Lloyd sighed. "So much happened there. The first time I saw it was also the first time you guys saw it. No engines, no flying, just a ship and a happy group of ninjas. And Nya. And Sensei."

"You never told us that," Nya said. "Could you smell Zane's pie?"

"It smelled delicious!" Lloyd said. He opened his mouth to say more, but an explosion shook the plane. He yelped as Kai jumped to his feet.

"Kai! What are you doing?" Nya asked.

"Finding the source of-" he started. Another explosion went off. Kai almost lost his balance, then he ran over toward the cockpit. "Stay here!" He yelled.

They all looked at each other. "How about... NO." Jay ran after Kai.

"Agreed," Lloyd said as he ran, Cole right behind him. Nya and Zane looked at each other, then got up to follow the others.

Kai opened the door to the cockpit. "Ah!" There was no pilot. Or copilot. Or, Kai realized, any other passengers on the plane. It had been a trap. The plane rocked around in the heavy wind. As Kai looked around to see what the explosions had damaged, the wind laughed at him.

Too late, he figured out the trap. He turned and tried to get out of the cockpit. "Go, go, go! It was a trap! The whole plane ride was a trap! Run!" Kai yelled.

The wind cackled and ripped the cockpit off the plane. Kai found himself falling. Jay reached out and grabbed him. Jay found himself falling alongside Kai. Lloyd grabbed him, and Cole grabbed Lloyd, and Zane grabbed Cole.

Nya tried to help Zane with Cole, but she fell out of the plane, screaming.

"NYA!!" Kai and Jay yelled. Kai reached for her and barely grabbed her hand. A strong gust of wind blew Zane off balance, and he tumbled out of the plane. They were falling. Falling toward oblivion.

Lloyd yelled and each one of them was shielded separately with his power. Lloyd tried to strengthen the shields, but he was passing out. But just before complete unconsciousness, he thought he saw dragons.
