KAI

"Reeeeeeeeed. Yo, Santa, ya' 'wake yet? Come on, Foxy, open your eyes."

I did so groggily. "Uugh... Where am I?" The memories came flooding back. "Nya!" I started to get up, but someone pushed me down. Whoever they were, they were strong. Or maybe I was just weak.

"Oh, no you don't. Rusty, you are staying down'" a girl said.

"My name is Kai. Who are you?"

"I'm Sora," she said. She lifted my head and put a pillow beneath it. I could now see her. Her hair was the same caramel color as Jay's. Her golden brown eyes searched my face.

"What happened?" I asked.

Sora shrugged. "I don't know. Don't move very much. You are badly injured. Not sure how, but it looked like you fell from a five hundred foot cliff. Not that high, actually. But not sure how. No cliffs near where I found you."

"The shield worked..." I realized. "That means..."

"What shield? What does it mean?" Sora asked.

"The others..." I replied. "They're alive."

ZANE

Someone was shaking me. "Wha..?" Then I remembered. "My brothers!" I sat up quickly and hit my head.

"Careful," a girl said. "Don't knock yourself out again."

I tried to focus on her face, but she was leaning too close to me. "Who are you?" I asked.

She leaned back and pushed some hair out of her face. It was light brown, and her electric blue eyes were filled with worry. "I'm Aster. You've been out for at least three hours. And who are you? You look familiar..."

"Do you know who the ninja are?" I asked her.

She shook her head. Her hair got in her face again and she pushed it away. "I don't. I'm not really comfortable on Ninjago. It's a lot like my home, but my senses keep tingling..."

"Well, I'm Zane. Wait... You're not from Ninjago?" I asked.

"Nope. Well sort of... My parents were. But we left soon after I was born," she said.

I sensed she was lying about something, but I didn't question it, considering that I couldn't pinpoint exactly what she was lying about. "My senses are tingling too. But I can't figure out why..."

JAY

"Let's see... That one wasn't bright enough..."

I groaned. A girl gasped. "He awakens! Hello."

"What happened..? The plane... Falling... Nya!" My eyes snapped open. A girl sat in front of me. "Ah!" I scrambled backward, hitting my head against a wall."

"I know, I know. My appearance startles everyone. Relax. I'm Luna," she said.

She certainly looked like a Luna. Her long braided hair was the same pale blonde as Zane's, and I could faintly see white stripes in it. She was also just as pale as Zane, and her eyes looked silver. So, basically, she looked like a girl version of Zane. Except her eyes were gray, and she wasn't a robot. At least, I didn't think she was a robot. I hoped she wasn't a robot.

"Who are you?" She asked.

"I'm Jay. What happened?" I said.

She shrugged. "I don't know. An explosion lit up the sky, and several lights flew toward the ground. One flew towards my home, but it flickered out before it hit the ground, revealing something inside. It was you, but I didn't know that at the time. The thing hit the trees, sliding down and falling onto the ground. Being naturally curious, I went to investigate. I found you and brought you to my home. So, here we are!" She spread her arms in a revealing gesture.
