LAVANDER

I looked back at the door of our shelter. I felt bad for lying to Lloyd and Nya, but it was needed. They shouldn't all be together immediately after the crash, even after we caught all of them. They would probably ask us too many questions, and we would probably reveal ourselves before the team was ready.

AJ looked at me. "Lav, are you okay?"

I turned my face toward him. "What? Oh, yeah. I just feel bad for lying to them. I feel bad that all of them had to be separated from each other."

My brother stopped walking and patted my back. "I know what you mean. But we should get to the others. Ready to morph?"

I nodded. "Let's go."

AJ started morphing. He grew fur, and smiled as his face changed into a muzzle, making it look like a snarl. He grew shorter and a big poofy tail started to appear behind him. He finished morphing and stared up at me with big eyes. He was now a raccoon. "Well? Are you going to morph or not?" His voice was slightly higher, and the words were both heard and sensed.

"Of course. I'll morph while running," I replied. I started to run, AJ at my side. I jumped and morphed into my common form. My hair became shorter and started to spread over my face. My ears lengthened and became pointed. I grew a tail and my hands became paws. When I hit the ground, I was a fox. "Beat ya there."

"Oh, you're on." AJ climbed into the trees and started jumping through the branches.

"Cheater." I ran through the bushes, leaping over stumps and rocks. I noticed that the river was running. "I'll take the water slide." I started turning toward it while I ran.

"What?" AJ called, stopping to look back at me. He noticed the river and turned back to leap through the trees. "Now you're the cheater!" He yelled as he ran off.

I jumped into the river and started to paddle downstream. The roar of the waterfall started. I swam faster and the roar grew louder. I leaped onto a conveniently close log and dug my claws into it. The rapids grew and the crash was deafening. The wall of the cavern came into view through the mist. I smiled and crouched, ready to jump. The log tipped and I sprang off it, knowing that, at my speed, I could probably reach the cavern wall.

I stretched my claws out and grabbed one of the vines dangling from it. I set my hind paws on a ledge below me and let myself drop onto it. I clambered down the cliff face and scraped the pads on my paws. About seven feet off the ground, I jumped down and landed in a crouch.

I sat up and looked around. My friends were there. My team. My family. I morphed back to human and stood up. "Hi, guys."

Sora smiled. "Well, my friend, looks like the whole team beat the leader."

I noticed AJ sitting to the side of Luna. "Huh. Well, what happened with each of you? I bet the ones we rescued have gotten back together." I looked around. "Uh... Lune. You start."

I went and sat next to my brother. Luna stood and talked about who she had met. "I met Jay. Jay is very... Odd. He wasn't really worried about himself. He was more worried about a girl named... Nya? Yeah, Nya. He seems to like her a lot." She sat back down.

Sora stood up. "I met Kai. He was also worried about Nya. He mentioned a shield. I guess that must've been the greenish-yellow light that we saw each surrounded in."

She sat back down and Diana stood. "I met Cole. He also mentioned that shield. And a boy named Lloyd. He was not very surprised about the sudden exit I had make, which surprised me."

Aster stood up. "I met Zane." She interrupted all of our gasps before any of us could speak. "Yes, the one my father told me about. The other droid. I'm not sure if he figured out if I was a robot or not, but I knew he was the moment he mentioned his name. He called his friends his brothers."

AJ stood as she sat down. "I met Nya. She didn't ever mention the crash, but she thought I was Lloyd. Who Lava Lamp here met."

He sat down before I could call him off about my nickname. I sighed and stood up. "Yes, I met Lloyd. He was surprised when he saw me. I wonder why..." I faked looking puzzled. I shook my head, which made my bright red hair shake over my shoulders. The others laughed quietly. "I can't figure out why. But he was also surprised when he saw Nya."

I sat down. Luna asked me, "How did they react to when you had to leave?"

I shrugged. "We did mention the Morphlings and the dragons. I caught a look of their faces just before we closed the door. Their expressions? Priceless."

I looked around at my team. "So... Should we stay here all night or go look for all five of the elemental ninja and the Samurai X?"

"Option two," Diana replied.

"I second that motion," Luna said.

"I want to see my brother," Aster said.

Sora shrugged. "I guess we should. It's the right thing to do it."

I turned toward my brother. "Well, is it going to be unanimous or will we destroy your vote?"

AJ looked around at us and sighed. "I don't really have a choice, do I?"

We all answered at the same time. "Nope."

AJ stood up and brushed off his jeans. "I guess. Which entrance should we choose?"

I rolled my eyes. "Why should we choose? How about we call up the newly adapted elemental dragons like we did when we caught the ninja?"

Diana shrugged and looked up at the sky. "Wouldn't the four dragons show up in the sky very brightly? And how will you call them? A dog whistle? A dragon whistle?"

I laughed. "You obviously don't put enough trust in my magic, Diane. I'll hide them." I whistled loud enough that you could probably hear it for miles. Four simultaneous roars shook the forest. I smiled. "Who needs dog whistles? I have my own."

Oh my gosh. I love mai Lav.

So... Will someone PLEASE comment on here so that I can see how the world likes my stories?

I REALLY hope that you guys like it! I'm so ready for mai battle see- Oops. SPOILER ALERT!!!

Hope you don't mind the sight slip that I left there on purpose.

I has a riddle for all of Mai readers.

There are only FOUR elemental dragons.

There are SIX people. Er... Anima.

The Anima cannot change into dragons. It requires too much power, energy, and time.

BUT each rode a different dragon. EACH dragon only had ONE rider.

There is an answer, but, because I love you guys, I will leave you in the dark.

Signing off,

Lodella
